In the bedroom, Ashta is consoling Vrinda, and then she goes to meet her aunts.
On the dining table the Bahuranis insist that the Canadian Aunt should start with the carrot halwa, and when she puts the spoon in her mouth, the Canadian Aunt says, "Solid, nice".

The Canadian Aunt, and what she is up to, The women have planned to plant some rats in Vrinda's cup board, Canadian Aunt has called all for a meeting, and all have been asked to wear the sarees she gave them. Vrinda is busy undoing the damage,
When they find Vrinda has not come down, the Aunt wants to go up, But suddenly they are jolted back to earth, as they see a well dressed Vrinda What has gone wrong with their plan again? Manjula suspects that their mother in law has bequeathed all the property to Mohan;s wife.

When Vrinda serves the ladies of the house, Jalpa notices the tear in her saree, and brings it to the notice of the rest, and the women pounce on her like wild cats, but Canadian Aunt forgives her. She asks her to prepare laddos for the pooja and goes to meet a friend.
Manjula can not accept defeat, and when Jalpa tells her that she is getting old and senile, she gets more aggressive. Every time Vrinda outwits them, and they forget that she is an actress too, and can anticipate their moves. Added to their misfortune, Ashta always comes in the middle of their plans and gets them into trouble. This time, Manjula escapes from being caught, but some higher force is on the side of Vrinda and Ashta. They have forgotten that they are in this haveli, only out of the good will of late Bhakti, the mother of Ashta.

The Nanavati women show craftiness, behave like grown up teenagers, and in order to get the Canadian Aunt on their side, try their best with all their tricks in their bag, but they always seem to fail. Even though they pose to respect their faith, they do not hesitate to show disrespect to the sacred rituals by tampering with the offerings to God. What good can one expect from them? They are after the Will are against Vrinda who is a true devotee of Laddo Gopal, having Ashta on her side which makes her invincible,
Manjula has already been discovered in the Aunt's room by Ashta, and she has given the proportions for sugar for the laddos, At the pooja the turmeric in the laddos is discovered and the bahus blame Vrinda, but Ashta who was there in the kitchen when these were prepared is surprised, and what will these so called devoted Mothers do, once she discovers their evil ways. These women, had plotted against her mother, and now they are out to do the same to her new mother. At that time Laddo Gopal always saved Bhakti, and now he is going to do the same to her second Mother.

When the Manjula and her henchwomen, have their part, it raises my blood pressure and the only grace is the part of Ashta, Vrinda and Canadian Aunt, who also falls for their tricks and hits all the wrong buttons. Due to the negativity of this Serial, I have decided that I will not be writing the updates for this serial from now on. Please watch this serial on line, or live, from now on. Plot thickens. Vrinda has been framed by the Bahuranis, and Canadian Aunt has so far not suspected them. Vrinda has asked for 48 hours to prove herself. Mohan and Ashta are ready to give Vrinda a chance, but Manjula is dead against her, why? The men wake up to the thought that it might be their own wives who are behind the trapping of Vrinda. One morning, when Canadian Aunt is reading the scriptures, Ashta comes and joins her and translates the Sanskrit slokas, in Hindi, and the aunt is proud of her, and praises her aunts for giving her such an education, but Ashta says, that it was her Vrinda Ma who taught her all this. Canadian Aunt falls into deep thought. With the pressure of the brothers, Mohan tries to trap Vrinda with a lot of cash, and she tells him, that if it was cash she was after, she would have walked away with it long time before, but she has been there only for Ashta, and he realizes this in the behavior of Ashta. The Bahuranis are again stumped.
With this side show going on, Ashta's workshop is closed down, Dev has gone to Timbuktu, and merry go round in Nanavati House.
Week : 2/5/2011 to 6/5/2011
Monday:
The five women spy on Mohan, trying to give two crore rupees, to Vrinda. Canadian Aunt spies on the women, as they discuss their success and are boasting. Vrinda plans to leave, and writes a letter to Ashta, and puts it in the newspaper stack, which gets lost and falls in the hands of the Canadian Aunt. She prevents the leaving of Vrinda, and that again foils the plans of the five bahu ranis.

Tuesday:
The evil five have plotted against Vrinda, but the Canadian Aunt has a different take. Vrinda comes to explain to the Evil Five, but they are getting ready to evict her, but the Aunt steps in, and stops them. She informs them, that she has decided to keep Vrinda back, and she will leave after the pooja on the next day, and tells Vrinda to go to her room.
The Evil Five, are flabbergasted, and are given jobs to do for the pooja, and the Aunt tells them to wait for the next day, but the Evil women, have no rest until they find what the pooja is about. Manjula the Sherlock Holmes of the Evil Five, with her large green bindi, and a contorted face, with high raised eyebrows, looks evil incarnate, but preaches a lot about her Dharma, which in practice it appears that she has misread through her capricious deeds..
The Canadian Aunt, tells something to Ashta and Vrinda, before going to sleep, and they have a smile on their face.

Wednesday
The five are busy doing work, and only Vrinda and Ashta are at peace, and getting ready without problems. Canadian Aunt goes to meet them. Ashta greets her. The Aunt has brought a saree for Vrinda.
Manjula is walking up and down. . They have no idea what their Aunt is up to. Pandit comes and wishes them, and Parul wants to find out from him what the pooja is about.
Vrinda is asking what the saree with the aunt has given is for. Ashta is very happy, that her father's and Vrinda Ma's wedding is taking place again. When they got married the first time, she was sick, and now she can really enjoy.
Vrinda pleads with the Aunt that she can not take the marriage vows lightly,. The Aunt explains that this ceremony is to undo the bonds which united them.
Mohan is angry with the Aunt, as he has not understood her motives. Finally she explains and Mohan apologizes,
Thursday
The five rub salt into the wounds of Vrinda, and the Canadian Aunt's wedding ceremony starts. The five are a bit depressed, when they come to know that the proper rite has to precede the anullment. The Pandit starts and ends the wedding rite, and then the Canadian Aunt wants him to start the annulment process. He says that it is against the Dharma, and the Shastras, but yields to the Aunt, and when the promise to reject her husband's wealth and his child, Vrinda loses her courage, and remembers her promise to Ashta, and runs away crying.
One more day has been gained and the viewers have to go to the next episode, if they want to know more.
Friday
The plot of the five has been foiled, by circumstances that followed Vrinda;s departure from the wedding mandap. Pandit has left, saying that the annulment, was not acceptable to god, and so he will leave. Canadian Aunt accepts his argument and persuades Mohan. Ashta goes to console Vrinda, and then goes to pray to Laddoo Gopal, who makes Mohan accept Ashta's proposal, and Vrinda accept Canadian Aunt's proposal. The evil five are hell bent on their vendetta, under the patronage of Manjula.
