Halwaaa!
Haha sorry I had missed that cuz I was too lazy to skip back a few pages 😆 thanx for replying to that tid bit I conjured up before the epi .. only because every has had one problem -- Geet not voicing what's in her heart.
I go by the saying that those close to you have the ability to hurt you the most. You make drastic decisions when it concerns those you hold close to your heart -- whether that decision is right or wrong. I supported her decision of leaving not because I thought she should leave Maan .. but because I felt it was the best way for her to overcome her trauma both from the MC (which she hadn't gotten a proper closure from) and from the Holi incident itself.
Sometimes a person needs to leave the place in order to set things right. She didn't break any ties with anyone .. she didn't take a vow that she'll never return .. and neither did she announce that she wants a separation ... she just silently left thinking it was the best thing to do -- she knows Maan and Daadima have been the biggest reason she's received so much love in her life but sometimes I guess a person makes harsh decisions even when they are aware of this fact .. well I wouldn't be the best judge of that :P

ZZZ, sorry am taking the liberty to post your response here, so all can read... if any one ever visits the thread...
ZZ, I understand the above pov. The fact that she left in a manner apt of an 18 yr. old, impulsively and on spontaneity of reactions; is what I would assume is escapism. Not just on thought to be pensive or introspect on her sad turn of affairs, what with the baby's death and Dadima pushing her to show joy without realizing the trauma she was going through. Conflict management or crisis is something she is not able to handle. Let alone, facing the truth of words that have had an impact on her bruised heart.
She left because she was hurt and vengeful. To show maan that she is not of weak blood or lineage and that she can live a life of her own. I dont grudge her this liberty to act wilfully, but when a khandan is also suffering grief of her loss and of Dev's return which was already causing uneasiness, this walk out was perhaps contradictory to sensible intelligent thinking.
She was not able to face the situation with boldness or firmness in holding Maan to his words. Of course Maan had to humble himself too, and this entire Amritsar trip proved he can do anything for love and he can become egoless to a point of honoring the truth of his commitment. This I do not see reflected in Geet's words or actions.
I realize the impact of his words on her heart and soul. For to her, none exists but Maan. Everything starts with him and ends with him for her also. More so for her, for he has given her a second life to live. And if this very life is taken from her to create this sadness, she would question it to no end and act impulsively, with this agony. Again I reiterate that Geet is perhaps afraid to confront the truth or face crisis in her life.😊
Cheers hon.
