Sasural Genda Phool will see a new track as Raunak makes a comeback to the show. His entry is an attempt to bolster falling ratings of the show.

Our source says, "This particular track will open up with Panna (Moon Banerjee) spotting Raunak in the crowd. She will follow him but he will again disappear. The coming episodes will focus on Panna, the only daughter of Kashyap family and Raunak's life. She will keep spotting him but won't be able to find him. There is a possibility that Raunak will have another woman in his life but this track is not confirmed as yet. Raunak's sudden disappearance has left everyone in shock. His career has hit a downslide which makes him feel insecure and he has no courage to face Panna and their families. The show has seen a slump in the ratings due to its sudden change in the track and this is the main reason why Raunak has been brought in."

We spoke to Sailesh Gullabani (Raunak) who confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I am back in the show. I have just started shooting and I am excited. He also adds that Sasural Genda Phool is known for its light-hearted storyline and the recent track was about the usual saas bahu drama which the audience couldn't identify with but now the show has picked up again in the last week and Raunak's entry will definitely boost the ratings."
