Wednesday's episode is on a whirl. TOTAL WORD COUNT: 1947
TRAIN:
Krishna and Prats arrive at their Dhaba to monitor the on site progress. With the construction on track, Prats turns her attention to the service aspect of the business. She lectures the devars T & C on the importance of etiquette when it comes to treating customers. That's the price they pay for being Krishna's friends😛. Just to be sure she gets T & C to role-play customer and waiter. Chandu gives it an honest try in spite of it being hard for him to treat Tunna with the respect as a customer. After a few attempts Tunna breaks out laughing forcing Krishna to take charge who enacts the role of the waiter to show them how it's done😆. He starts off with an over the top cordial performance which quickly dwindles into his regular style of talking to family and friends. Krishna and Prats enjoy the sight of the name board mounted at the entrance of the Dhaba, a dream come true for both of them.
THRILL:
The workers, cook and devars rejoice in the moment dancing to celebrate 🥳the completion of the dhaba. Radhe arrives at the scene, mocks Krishna's for opening a Dhaba to this friends and leaves after spraying paan juice on the ground. Will the orange paan stains at the scene of the crime be a clue to the identity of who torched the Dhaba? That's a stretch but could be an unexpected twist.😉
TATTLE:
Komal is one shameless girl. Just because the snake Kesamma asks her about her inlaws does she need to go down the list and belittle every one at a time giving her two paise opinion? Komal is not just immature at times but lacks the common sense to see things from a different point of view. She is way too self-absorbed about her wants and needs. It's understandable when she first got married it was a huge adjustment for her. But after living with the Saxes for over a year, hasn't she learned a thing or two? She is not as dense as her big brother KN that she can't grasp a few life's truths about married life. It reflects poorly on her for bath mouthing her sasural while living under their roof. If the timid Saxes were so mean why not ask Adarsh to get an apartment and move to Civil Lines as she threatened to do that day not too long ago, instead of continuing to shaer their living space and refusing to part with a few large Gandhi bills to pay for her needs?
TRADUCE:
While living under their roof and dissing her sasural, isn't Komal belittling her husband as well? While she's busy bad mouthing her sasural to gossip monger Kesamma, she forgets that she's been ignoring her husband who has been alienated from his family in recent weeks. She has left him to fend for himself while she spends all her waking hours chewing on Apills and tattling on her sasural to anyone willing to listen. While she was at it, how come she conveniently forgets to fill in the nosy nari about her choti nanadh Arusi being Kesar's sauten, a surprise gift KN brought home to her not too long ago? GD is talking again now, so why doesn't she tell the immature, bratty daughter of the house to zip her lips and stop washing her dirty linen in public?
CENSURE:
Amma rails into "useless" Komal for shamelessly making fun of her inlaws, and questions her common sense in doing so. Spoken like a true mother to an immature daughter who's clueless, careless and going off track. These days Amma is so unpredictable in her interactions that she's got the entire Takur clan confused and curious. If she is indeed playing a strategic game the family is in for the shock of their lives when it unravels before them. Even if POPS want to show a reformed good hearted Amma viewers are suspicious of her intentions and refuse to buy into it. How ironic! 😆Amma doesn't spare Kesamma either. She takes the nosy nari to task for urging Komal on instead of acting her age and making her understand her role as a wife. Given Kesamma's personality Amma should be glad the troublemaker hasn't taken it upon herself to mislead Komal down the wrong path just for the thrill of stirring trouble in her married life at Prats's maike. Good to see someone keeping the nosy nari in check especially with Amma's darts hitting Kesamma right between the eyes.
ADMONISH:
Komal thinks her inlaws are only worthy of being ridiculed. She didn't like it when she was on the receiving end of a few lame ridicules at her sasural for being an unpud, gawar, immature, and spoiled little rich brat! Amma defends Prats's family "You think they are bad? You are worse. Instead of sitting here and ridiculing them you should be thinking about fixing your married life you are destroying by your own actions. Did you once call to see if your husband ate a meal or not?" Komal hasn't learned to put her mard first like Amma.
SUSPICION:
GD is curious and concerned how Amma has suddenly changed her stripes with such sweet words for Prats's family. And so is KN suspicious about the sudden change in Amma. SS has resigned Amma is being genuine for now.
INDEPENDENCE:
Back in MMGJ, Adarsh burns his fingers while making his toast. He ignores Naina's offer to help while the rest of the family watches, feeling tortured at the sight of Adarsh cooking his own breakfast. Naina could have saved herself a few ounces of tears had she taught Adarsh to cook a basic meal independently instead of spoiling him rotten. BTW, what's up with the background music every time the scene shifts to MMGJ, very mysterious. It only adds to the gloomy feel of the place. Recently even the lighting is dim and makes the place looks like someone is ready to play spooky Halloween games. Ugh!
REJOICE:
SS is in great spirits talking to his family about Krishna's dream being realized. When Krishna walks in with Prats SS hugs him and asks him for updates on the "progress" on the upcoming inauguration of Baba ka Dhaba. A banana chowing and jealous KN and snoopy Kesamma aren't happy listening in on this conversation. They still haven't grown out of their selfish interests. GD however is thrilled and prays that Krishna and Prats's happiness remains untouched by evil. Just then the camera pans a close up of none other than Mr. Bayil Buddhi himself who is busy digging his ears with a stick.Yikes!
INVITE:
It's a welcome surprise to hear SS call "PRATIGYA" by name for the first time ever. The tone wasn't a put down nor was she addressed as Krishnabo. He tells her to invite ever member of the Sax family so they get to witness their damadh standing on his own two feet and finally earning his keep. KN's ears perk up when he hears the name of his misplaced second wife Arusi. What was that concerned look at Prats all about? For all his tough exterior KN is terrified of Prats now that Amma and SS are on her side. KN's wheels are cranking in his head albeit noisily, as they have been out of commission for a very long time and need to be oiled.
INAUGURATE:
Krishna wants to know who's going to do the ribbon cutting at the inauguration of the Baba Ka Dhaba. SS directs Krishna to ask his Amma. But she overrides it and suggests that Prats, his mehraroo be the one to cut the ribbon as she has had a big hand in Krishna starting this business and bringing the best out in him. Neither Kesamma, KN nor Komal like what they are hearing around them, but then who there really cares what they think? Will KN ever stop cleaning his ears and grooming himself in public? Yikes!
GENEROUS:
Prats overrides Amma's suggestion and wants SS to do the honors as he trusted Krishna and funded the Dhaba. Kesar, GD and Amma are pleased and SS is moved by Prats's generous spirit.
CHIDE:
We are forcibly taken back to the woeful world of Saxes where Naina is enjoying her bout of insomnia while Dadi wakes up to berate her for staying up late and accuses her of going mad for the love of her son. The old woman is sure Adarsh has gone to the Niwas to get his fill of chicken and fish. She's always the pessimist and never a complimentary thing to say about her grandchildren. She reserves her limited quota of praise and warnings for her beloved beta Shamu. With a bully like her for a mother is it any surprise she's got a timid son in Shamu😲.
INEBRIATE:
The door bell chimes and Naina the dutiful mother runs to open the door only to be greeted by a repelling odor. A drunken Adarsh stumbles in and bumps into a stand intentionally placed just so he could run into it on his way to his room. An alarmed Shamu and Arusi arrive on the scene and glance at each other as if the answers are written on each other's face. Is Shamu looking at Arusi hoping she has some answers after living with a drunken KN under the same roof? The mention of alcohol or meat is enough to repel the Saxes.
PATIENCE:
Naina yells after Adarsh as he heads back to his room while Shamu tells her it's a waste of time to get him to hear them out now, they'll have a talk with him when he's up after sunrise with a hangover. Do they know the remedy for a hangover or do they need to buzz Komal to get some suggestions, alerting her to the state of her husband's activities in her absence🤔?
RESTLESS:
Krishna is restless tonight, nervous and fearful about the opening of his Dhaba after sunrise. Is he finally tuning into his intuition after a long time? He is riddled with questions that make him anxious '' will people show up at the Dhaba for a meal, what if they don't and their plan fails, then what happens? Prats assures him there is no need for him to worry about such things as nothing will go wrong, he has done an honest job and worked hard and every person is a little scared when they first start a business. She encourages him to just trust himself, his hard work and forget everything else.
While the young Takur couple drifts off to sleep with dreams of ushering in a new dawn, the paan chewing orange lips gunda Raade is seen glaring at the Dhaba with a hateful glare and a burning torch in hand ready to set Krishna's dreams aflame. Makes one wonder what role KN has in Raade's presence at the Dhaba uninvited?
Preview: Krishna answers a call that makes him frantic, his Dhaba is on fire. He tells the caller to call T/C before he rushes out. Prats follows Krishna on his way to save their dream Dhaba from burning to the ground. What kind of person would want to burn someone else's dreams to the ground when he himself is a worthless weight on the planet, idling his time, roaming around and doing nothing with his life? For once Krishna is passionate about accomplishing something worthwhile in his life and one can hear it in his voice as he is on his way.
