-Show starts at the Mandhir. Its early morning, Laxmi comes with arti plate and does Tulsi pooja. Then she sign Mahadev bhajaan (same as the one she always sings). This wakes up Suraj, Kaveri and Mehen. They all come down to pray. Laxmi finishes the arti and gives it to everyone. Suraj is looking at Laxmi with admiration. Kaveri gets a imagination that Parag is there, but snaps out of it and realizes its Laxmi.
-Scene shifts to the kitchen. Motu is bothering Randal to go to college. But she is refusing saying its Ram naavmi and there is a lot of work, Ba will kill her if she goes to college. Mahen comes and says fighting is wrong and the all three are talking when Laxmi comes with Mahen's milk. She asks Randal why she has not left for college yet. Randal tells her that today is going to be a busy day at home so she can't go. Laxmi assures her that she will take care of everything and she shouldn't miss school for it. She forces her to go and motu and Randal leave. She reminds Laxmi that she has already made breakfast for Suraj as he doesn't do fasts. Laxmi says why not, Randal tells him he cant stay hungry.
-Laxmi goes to her room, where Suraj is looking for his watch. She helps him get ready for work, giving him his wallet, shoes etc. He asks her how do you remember where everything is? She tells him why do u forget? Plus this is my duty as a wife. He sits down to do breakfast, but she asks him if he will fast for her. He agrees (fake). Suraj gets a call from his job and while talking he buttons his shirt wrong. Laxmi tries to explain but he doesn't listen, so she fixes it for him.(a little romantic moment) Suraj is ready to go, he tries to take another bite of his breakfast but Laxmi stops him once again. She gives him sabudana kichadi and he leaves.
-Ba is in her room, complaining to herself that no one cares about her. Laxmi enters her room with her breakfast. Ba taunts Laxmi that she wouldn't even know that she is fasting today and that no one keeps the fast in this house but her. Laxmi tells her that she made farari food for her today (fasting food). Laxmi leaves but tells Ba that she also kept the fast. Ba stops her and asks if she ate, Laxmi says no. Ba tells her to join her and they eat together. Laxmi then tells Ba that Suraj also kept the fast, and Ba is shocked.
-Ragini and Suraj are making fun of Laxmi and how she is making Suraj fast. Suraj tells Ragini that if I had refused then I would have been late, it was easier to just agree with her. He picks up the sabudana kichadi that Laxmi packed and starts to eat. Ragini says why are u eating that, lets order something else. Suraj tells her that no thats ok, it will take to long and he is really hungry. He teases her that she is jealous of Laxmi and Ragini says no and laugh. She then tells him that in 2 months my project will be over and then we can marry. What will u do with Laxmi then. Suraj tells her that if I can marry her for my selfish reasons, I can let go of her for the same.
-Laxmi bumps into the witch (forget her name), she complains to her about Randal and then she starting yelling at Laxmi and then goes on to talking about Parag. Kaveri hears about Parag and gets depressed. Laxmi sees this and goes to the kitchen. Laxmi and Kaveri have a talk about Parag. Laxmi explains to Kaveri that he really needs his mother. Kaveri is like I can't forget my duty as a DIL in the emotions of a mother. Ends on Laxmi's face.

She sees that Suraj and Laxmi are sleeping ont he floor with a wall of pillows. She goes back and tells her mother big witch. Big witch starts to get curious, and says she has to find out whats cooking..........
