@Deepika di, aapko nahi pata tha! Lol, I wish I was in India right now for the celebrations! But sadly, I'm stuck here in the US where my P.E. teacher doesn't even know that there is a world cup for cricket. Haha, how weird na? She teaches us about sports, but she doesn't know about the best one of them.
Haha, it was wonderful reading about your totka. Actually I had planned to watch it from the beginning, but I didn't sleep the whole night because I was soo tensed about it. I had told everyone at my school that India's going to win this thing. So I finally fell asleep at like 3 and didn't wake till 8. My dad wouldn't wake me up then.
And yes, I totally agree on how entertaining the whole match was. I was on the edge of my seat, literally, chewing my finger nails. But my friends in Mumbai were not so. India had 50 runs to make still, and they started lighting firecrackers. Lol, overconfidence much? And it was all so uncertain until the last couple of balls. Anything could have happened. These are the matches which really glue your eyes to the screen! Loved the last sixer by Dhoni!
And yes, watching the greatest athletes of India crying for joy was really very touching. Harbhajan Singh is really so sweet and expressive. Loved how he said "Chack De India! Bhruuurrrrr haa!!" lol. And Yuvi is such an "aadarsh beta" because of how he dedicated the win to his parents. Just was thinking "awwwwwwwwwwww." And then Sachin being carried off by all the players was one of the best moments of this era. This will remain with me always.
@Lola di, well first off, great siggies! I love the Dhoni, Man of the Match one! Really have fallen in love with him right now! I mean, wow! What a great Captain! Using that siggy at once!
And I know na, the celebrations must be insane in India right now!!!!!!! My cousin bro didn't even sleep he was out lighting firecrackers and dancing! Dear gosh, I wish I was there!
