Pure as Gold

I have not watched this show in a very long time or even posted on this forum.

I did not like the way the characters and the filial relationships were being compromised at the D household post Krshna's marriage. But I read the WU keeping a faint hope that at some point of time it would be pushed too far and the feedback would be such that it would have to change.

It was wonderful to read today's update and find a father son bonding scene. a bond that seemed almost dead .............. still lives and is as pure and precious as Gold.

Of the entire epi, that scene stole my heart.

Krishna seems to have grown up and The Thakur is back to being a loving patriach. What a treat, after months and months of waiting......................

those tears, that hug, the talk, the love shining through was unmistakable.

I hope this is not a temporary detour.

I don't really care what Krishna's marriage to Pratigya is like or their romance for that matter but I do hope that these mending of filial bonds continue (especially with his father), his old confident, practical and daredevil personality resonates and he is showing succeeding in what he was doing and creating a legitimate business empire for his family. a legacy of his own.

Enough of showing a more naive, gullible, shoddy side of him.

He doesn't need to be a street fighter only to be the Qunitessential Krishna. He can now be a fiersome enterpreneur and probably even end up in a political capacity. Best of Luck Krishna in the next lap of the race. CVs don't run it please.

His move asking his father for seed capital was right. Unlike most folks he has not been equipped with the tools i.e. education to enable him to earn his keep without any seed capital. This should have been done a long time ago before the modelling and all those attempts but I guess at that time the CVs need a detached confrontational relationship for TRPs or something. Well atleast now they are being reasonable.

Hope awesome post. ya today it was a really touchy father and son scene. father knew that theson really loves his wife and he was ready to do anything for his happiness. the same old father son relationship. OMG i had tears in my eyes. these 2 are awesome. ya when they change the krishna they shouldn;t change krishna in his innocence,his love for his parents and all. he just need a little bit of polishing. u r correct for the last couple of months the images of the characters have been moulded so much that they lost where they started. i think now it is slowly coming back. i think we should keep commenting and putting post so that cv;s hear us.

laks - he had a very strong and loving bond with his father and seeing them constantly rejecting one another was a big turn off.

even today you could see his hesitation in asking for the money. he feared mockery or ridicule (remebered how he was mocked when he initally asked about the tender at the dinner table?) and this was evident.

Also I was hoping that he was not being subtly manupilative of his dad but as I continued seeing the scene I realized that his instinct to trust and bond with his father again followed out of a natural desire for support rather than as a means to convince his father for the loan.

Any son who had a strong relationship with his dad like he had is bound to feel a lot of pain and isolation at the estrangement (even when you are living under one roof). He does not see any error on his path and similarly SS does not see any error on his part in the ensuing estrangement. They will take time to heal but it was nice to see a scene that showed them heading in the right direction

Was it me or did Krishna look really embarrased when his dad was talking about his own plans to court his wife? He looked so embarrased like he wanted to vanish or something😆😆😆😆

Pragati that is o.k. i also felt like krishna was embarressed when Ss said that. to hope before SS used to tease him a lot. the way he cared for prats. so it is natural for him to think that again he will do that. remembre on prats birthday when he asked him money to buy a gift for prats he said so many things but somebody else was behind tht. so i felt it si natural for him so feel tht in the circumstances.

Agree, Hope.... the bond between ss-k is shown so beautifully... no other serial can match it....
very fitting title...
