FALON is the BESTEST !!! - Page 8

I liked Shakti and have always appreciated her comtemparary dances. She is the best in DID so far when it comes to that.

Now if you talk about versality, I think Falon has a edge over Shakti.

I do agree that Shakti performed other styles too, but we all know what comments she received for those performances ? 😳 I remember that masters wanted her to try different styles. Falon excels in everything

she/amit have been appreciated for almost every act 😊

And talk about energy ...who can beat Falon ? 😳

In that aspect, then I would have to say that Falon has done the same kind of dance often! Except Marzi giving different dance style names to their acts, I didnt see any significant differences in their dance moves and lifts, it looked quite similar to their earlier acts often!! Each Latin dance is quite different from the others, but that signature differences were missing in A-F acts, sorry to say! So why did Marzi make such mistakes?? Maybe Sandip could have done a better job in that since he is the master of Ballroom dances in India.. Most of A-F acts kinda looked the same in terms of outfits too!

Actually doing a walk-through of A-F performances this season, I realize that my problem is Amit and not Falon!! Of course Falon was over expressive in sensual acts but she is still more graceful than Amit.. Amit has NO expressions and has the same fixed expression at all times!! I dont even know how to describe his fixed expression!! I truly wish that Karan and Falon were made a pair by Dada and they made it into the finale!! I am surprised though, why cant Amit emote well when he is a trained contemporary dancer, and expressions of all kinds of emotions are key to all contemporary dance acts!!

Well for me Amit can emote,Falon is extremely graceful and expresses very well and way way more versatile than Shakti.And even Marzi is way more versatile than Terrence.Thank god Falon was never paired with Karan because the only thing Karan can do is contemporary .But obviously you dont agree.So lets just close this discussion and say that i think AF are the best but you dont.So lets close this discussion now.We both have our opinions but we are never going to agree with each other.Thanks

Good for you!! I never wanted to continue, and I had mentioned that a few times earlier too, but you get arguing no matter what proofs I had provided!! No point in playing the role of a devil's advocate, because it doesnt work with everyone! You pretended to be Shakti's fan and Terence's fan, but at the same time tried to put them below Marzi and A-F.. I got the message earlier itself, but you tried to fool all the TL and Shakti fans!! So I had to bring the truth out, and so I did!!! 😛

Marzi more versatile than Terence!! My foot!!! He never was and he never will be!!! 😆 After all Falon learned Contemporary and Latin dances from TLCDC!! And she was Shakti's senior there, so I look at them as almost at the same level.. Amit has ZERO expressions!! In most of their acts, Marzi made Falon jump onto Amit and then put her legs around his waist or neck and then do Madonna moves!! But still I like Falon over Amit any day!!!

Well sorry to disappoint you but shakti and Terrence are not that important for me that i would try to fool their fans and from you replies it doesnt look like you want to end this discussion but i definitely do because i can never explain you my POV.

I saw Falon with a neck collar in Friday Performance. Wonder if she is injured.

Falon is a fabulous dancer, you can make her do anything!!! May be she is more versatile than Shakti too. But she nor with her partner Amit has such stage presence like Shakti or Shakti-Amar jodi. Amit-Falon had tough time connecting with the audience even though they performed best among all doubles week after week. Both jodis gave great opening performance, both contemporary, but "Khuda jane" will always score higher than "Tadap tadap" for me.

Coming to Terence and Marji, Marji also showed he can make his dancers do any form(except classical) and his choreography is great too. Marji is a very intelligent choreographer while Terence can bring soul in his choreography and will leave you asking for more. No one (related to DID) can match Terence's aesthetic touch, to me he is a magician. Some of the basic ideas of Marji's choreography reminded me of Terence's work but Marji very cleverly choreographed so one will doubt the similarities.

Of course, the Amar-Shakti magic was never there with any pair in any DID season so far!! And even CS performing for Khuda Jaane last week was a mistake I think, because viewers would automatically compare that to Amar-Shakti act as the magical affect by Terence can never be forgotten or replaced.. You said it clearly - TL brings his soul in his work!! ⭐️

Last line -- very well said, and totally in agreement with ya!!! I noticed that too, and Geeta does it too, but unlike Marzi, Geeta kinda makes it quite obvious..
