Here is my take on yesterday's Maaneet scene at the market.
The scene:

My analysis:
Geet gently caresses the broken photo frame of Maan as if to soothe the shattered Maan and gives it to the shop keeper to fix a new glass on it. The shopkeeper tells her that it will cost her Rs.20 to fix it and she says that it is alright. (If only Maan's broken heart can be fixed with just a few rupees!) One can see that Geet 's expression here is vacant. She is lifeless without her life (Maan). Leaving the broken photo frame with the shop keeper, she then moves away as if to show that she has left a broken Maan behind, expecting someone else to take care of him.
It is only after she leaves the place, Maan realizes she was there and rushes to find her. In his haste he hits against a hefty guy, as if to show his impending meeting with the imposing new family of Geet. He is undeterred by the impact though and proceeds to search for his ladylove. He asks the photoframewalla if he has seen a fair lady. The shopkeeper says that since so many customers come and go so he cannot concentrate on anyone in particular. This shows that Maan and Geet mean nothing to the rest of the world but to each other. He shows the scorched photograph of Geet and asks again. While asking this, he inadvertently places Geet's scorched photograph next to his own broken frame. Although the shopkeeper had only moments before seen Geet, he still could not recognize her in the photo Maan showed him. Geet was scorched by Maan's word and Maan was broken by Geet's departure from his life. Only they can find the way to each other and complete each other. Nobody else can help in this process of healing.
Both Geet and Maan are in the market place filled with people and yet they are alone in the crowd, empty without each other - one is lost and the other is searching. Geet absent mindedly caresses a red dupatta in one of the stalls. Maan comes there later when she is gone and caresses the same dupatta. Red is the colour of love. It can also mean marriage. Both are seeking to hold on to their love, their marriage but are still confused as to how to get back what they have lost.
