Dear friends
We all criticize Popatlal if he behaves like a social deviant. But Jethalal's attitude towards Babita is regarded as funny. But I think he is equally pathetic. His behavior towards a married women is not acceptable. And then when something goes wrong he will tell Daya that he loves her so much.
I think they started this track to make it funny but now, just as Popatlal's behavior towards any unmarried women, Jethalal-Babita affair has become irritating and embarrassing. I am also surprised to see the attitude of Aiyer. He treats Jethalal as his competitor. The look on his face and his smile suggest that he is insecure towards Babita. And so, every time when he manages to outdo Jethalal, his regards it as his victory. If Jethalal is wrong then Aiyer is equally wrong. He should straight away talk to Jethalal and tell him to shut up. And I also don't understand Mr Mehta's stand. Why does he never tell Jethalal that his attitude towards Jethalal is not acceptable.

yup, babita and jetha's flirt and it's comedy is a key ingredient of the show. without that TMKOC won't be TMKOC. but at the same moment it should not cover majority show space. more over it is also an antisocial deed. so it should not be much more emphasized. but since it is a comedy and not a drama aiyer is lenient. if he straight away talk to him or even babita show may come to an end.
the best way to get rid from this is to introducing more story.

I think too much is being made of jethalal's attraction towards babitaji😆 Its just as simple as fantasizing or having a soft corner for someone u like, its not anti social as I see it... By this logic, all married men should be barred from fantasizing about Katrina Kaif or other actresses and all married or unmarried women should be criminals for liking srk...😆 God knows what all men and women fantasize about thinking of their infatuations, poor jethalal's infatuation is not even dirty😆 Its just a protective kind of a feel and all he wants is to be the right hand man for her all the time helping her & being in her good books, not that he wants to leave daya and marry babaitaji...

Yes, I actually do realize that Jethalal's situation is a bit different.

I don't think he loves Babitaji. And neither he doesn't like Daya and want to leave her.

I think the only reason why he likes to be close with Babita is because he feels that she could have got a better person than Iyer. Whenever, Iyer is around is tries to put him down and tries to pull up Babita's status. Although this attitude is not good. In short Jethalal is more of jealous of Iyer than anything with Babita.

It's perhaps also not true that Jethalal is after beautiful women. Because Kary according to me is far beautiful than Babita but Jethalal behaved very normally with her. So to me it seems that Jethalal thinks that Babita would be more happy if she married to someone else than Iyer.

Anyway changing the topic: Although many don't like Baga....I like the way he walks...just too funny.....jase jiski sooch..!😆

This time they showed way too far. Come on, its a comedy show. Its not any psychopathic thriller . Things should be dealt with comical situations not with psychic ways.

May be the scriptwriter thinks that since Jetha is a 'victim' in the hands of Tappu, Champak and Daya, it gives him moral right to flirt with Babita.

Three recent tracks were solely dedicated to this :
1. Bhaang
2. Iyyer's transfer to chennai.
3. Even during the Sundarlal-holi track, Jetha's primary concern was to color Babita, and not about enjoying the festival with the family and society.

Especially in Iyyer's transfer, Jetha over-reacted to it.
I love Jethalal with all his follies, but overdoing the Babita-flirt theme sends a wrong message about his otherwise innocent character and that is not the way I wish to see him.

Oh come on! This issue is being pulled too far. Let's just imagine SRK, Kareena, Sallu or for that matter any bollywood star living next to us. All of us would be on cloud 9. We will be constantly trying to garner their attention. Same happens in TMKOC. Jethalaal is just a huge fan of Babita and wants to impress her all the time. And its just Taarak Mehta who understands this. Jethalal regards Babita as his very good friend and the matter ends there. The character Jethalal cannot even think of a life without his beloved wife, Daya .

Multiple things I noticed in the above post:
1. First and foremost - I strongly smell a troll.
2. Supposedly clever use of "married women" phrase. Women? Really? And, no, I will not be trapped and ignore the whole sentence. The main point in "His behavior towards a married women" is to paint Jethalal as a flirt to all women. Is he flirting with Madhavi or Anjali? I missed it.
3. "Jetalal-Babita affair" ???? Huh??
4. Aiyer does not treat Jethalal as his competitor because he cannot. Aiyer is nowhere near Jethalal in terms of smartness, being spontaneous and witty. Aiyer knows it very well and hence is always frustrated.
5. Aiyer never outdoes Jethalal because he simply just can't. That is how the characters are written. It shows that one watches the show just because everyone else is watching.
6. Mr. Mehta and people in China do not have anything to do with this.
