Mayank drove as fast as he could to reach to Nupur as quickly as he could'he tried calling her'but her cell came out to be out of reach now'once it got connected though but he himself had to cut the call, since he saw the traffic police who would have stopped him midway for talking on a cellphone while driving'he again tried calling her but was unable to connect to her'he was now getting frustrated and kept on increasing the speed to drive faster'though safe driving even at high speed was what Mayank Sharma could easily manage'

Nupur was done with her work at her Panvel site when all her co-workers had left one by one and soon she realized that her car had abandoned her for the day and was not in a position to take her home'
She asked looking out for a rickshaw or taxi but couldn't find one at this sort of remote place which was a secluded one'new area of development'.she cursed the public transport for that very reason'
She was there alone apart from the watchman who instead of helping her find a proper transportation medium, irritated her with his talks and was getting on her weak nerves when inspite of her constant blasting him off''.he told her ghostly stories about the road that lay ahead of her, on her way back'
She acted to behave brave but he made it sound all so real and told her about some of the incidences he proclaimed to be an eye witness of'
Irritated, frustrated, hlpless angry, frightened and trying to hold herself firm'she called Mayank and blurted out all that she felt necessary so that he doesn't ignore or avoid coming to her rescue'
When she felt like calling back with a more calm mind'her mobile battery had already left her like a day gues, as usualt'.she waited eagerly for Mayank as she never had earlier'
The watchman spoke up smirking, "Mai-dam-jee, aapke pati kya Shehenshah Akbar hain jo Hindustan ka itihaas badal dein'ya phir Chitragupt'jo aapki jindagi ke panno mein pherr badal kar sakein?...woh aakar kya kar lenge'jo hona hai..woh toh hokar hi rahega'kuch doorie par jo raasta hai'.raat ke sannate mein wohh'"
Nupur almost screamed at him, "Chup!!!....apne kaam se kaam rakho samjhe'jyada chu chapad ki naa toh unse tumhe hi pitwa doongi samjhe'aur kal tumhari naukri khatre mein hai samjho" she completed saying this which made the watchman angry this time'
He left to his small resting cabin saying, "theek hai'hum chup ho jaate hain'jaise koi fark padega'" and went in his cabin, sat and made his eyes go shut preparing to sleep'.
Nupur looked at him and looked at the road'.she felt it was better to face stand facing him rather than the road despite of him being the irritating most to her today''

Mayank soon reached at the address of Nupur's presence'he parked his car and searched for the building number she had mentioned in the SMS'
Finally he saw her facing towards a gate'from what he could see'she was clutching her handbag tight with one of her hands and her car keys in her other hand'.facing him backwards there she stood and he felt a bit calm now'.

Nupur felt a hand on her shoulders and she quickly shut her eyes tightly and a questioning and stiff voice called out, "Nupur" but it was familier voice'.she knew it'
She opened one of her eyes in curiosity'turned back opening both her eyes to see the owner of the hand and watching the best sight she expected to see at the moment'
She didn't realize when she flung her arms around Mayank'..
She held herself a bit high and incidently rubbing her cheeks with his she settled her face behind his ears and held him in a tight grasp around his neck'.all the comfort, security, belongingness came back running to her'she held him like she was hanging on a cliff with only one support to look for at the greatest height'.HIM'

Mayank saw her and finding her safely standing there, he thanked God for the sight he saw'.but he wondered as to why had she called him with such an emergency in her voice and why was she standing facing him backwards'.
He called her ever so softly'she didn't react'.maybe she missed out his voice'.he again called her out a bit stiffly and loudly and reached out his hands on her shoulders in the process of making her realize his presence when he saw her slowly turning back with fear written all over her face, along with the relief now that was soon spreading on her face'she glued herself to him in a tight embrace feeling all relieved he could sense'her hugging him like this out of the blue made him feel like his stomack fell down a few floors'.he felt like holding her back in an embrace- he didn't knew the reason for which though'he held himself back strongly still giving her the comfort that she wanted but didn't realize when his hands reached upto her back and then on her head'patting her head a couple of times'

As soon as Nupur felt his hands on her'.she felt a chill run down her spine but then his patting hands on her head made her feel so safe and comforted that she was the most looking out for at the moment but then she soon came back to her senses and moved back a little, all the while looking downwards and feeling awkward now at her behavior'.
Mayank looked at her complete different kind of undefended behavior'..but looking at her feeling awkward he felt the need to speak up now'.
