Thanks to Barry Dhillon, I've picked up a new word..ghairat...Geet and ghairat...both starting with G...does the similarity end there...no way..this was a woman who fought her family and society for her right..she dared to walk away from her family to forge a new life...she dared to walk away from the love of her life, not just once but twice, over this..so this is a woman who is very big on self respect..agreed CVs..but why then are her actions not adding up for me at this point..?!

I don't want to go into the forgiveness debate..I am willing to buy that she did it in the belief that it was crucial for the peace of her marital home..and the way forward for her to start life afresh with her husband..but why that contrived Holi sequence...what was the need for it..the whole confrontation could have easily played out even without that...but in a single stroke, you decimated the character of your show's protagonist...this was the character that your audience, the vast majority female, was supposed to connect with...it was through her eyes that we were to see her world..all that the Holi sequence made us want to do was gouge our eyes out..I don't know what you people at the channel/PH/ GHSP creative team were thinking when you went ahead and executed that scene..believe me, you alienated a good majority of the audience in one stroke..you butchered the character so bad that pretty much nothing remained...and it appears that you did it in the name of bringing the romance and passion to a new level on the show..to quote yet another fan, "I don't understand the point of seeing romance and passion when there's nothing left in the characters. I might as well check out a soft po*n video where the titillation would be much higher!"

Moving on, like Geet is so fond of doing, let us now get to this new track that is to unfold...yet another knight in shining armour appears to be emerging from the horizon..this is getting repetitive now..first it was MSK..then when she needed a temporary respite, you brought in Yash...then it was back to MSK again for a while..and now that self respect has reared its pretty head again, it is time for yet another male saviour to make an entry..the male saviour has become quite the GHSP cliche...but why..why does this woman need a male crutch every time in her fight for self respect...why can't she achieve things by her own for a change..why can't she get a job, get an education, get a life...why bring in another man to make this a three ring circus...how many more successful film cliches are you going to incorporate...which one is it this time...Chandini maybe..or is it going to be Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya..whichever it maybe, I am equally angry...simply because, for once, I wanted to see this woman try and make something of her life on her own...thanks to you, looks like she will be letting us down yet again..!

What's with Geet's self respect and good looking, eligible young men, people..why do the two seemingly share a symbiotic relationship?!
