Maan: hello…shweetu???
Geet: ohh hi mishtel khulana….shweetu misshing (=missing) you!
Maan: me mishing too. What aal you doing?
Geet: umm….nothing. mamma papa gone offish (=office)…me alone!!!
Maan (with concern): achcha….you aal alone???
Geet ( nearly crying): hmm…..
Maan: then come to my house now! We'll play!
Geet (wideing her eyes): really…I come????
Maan: umm…yess,,,come fasht (=fast)now. Me waiting.
Geet: ok I coming…bye.
Maan: bye
Geet threw the phone, literally, and ran to her room. She threw open her wardrobe and threw out all her dresses. She couldn't decide what to wear. She was confused! Usually her mum helped her dress up!! Nanny was amazed to see her reaction! She reached her room.
Nanny: baby ji…aap kahan jaa rahi hain?
Geet: mein mishtel khulana ke ghal(=ghar) jaa lahi (=rahi) hoon! Achcha batao kaunshi (=kaunsi) dless (=dress) pehnoon???
Nanny was shocked…she didn't know which Mr. Khurana was geet talking about!
Geet (still busy in her dress): achcha mein yeh blue wali pehen leti hoon!
She changed her dress without any effort that day. She wore matching booties, wore a blue ribbon and ran downstairs! She turned towards the nanny and said, "chalo…mujhe mishtel khulana ke ghal (=ghar) le chalo!" Nanny was worried now!
Nanny: but baby ji…..hum nahi jaa sakte!
Geet's smile vanished.
Geet: kyun?
Nanny: kya aapko pata hai unka ghar kahan hai????
Geet( now confused): na…mujhe nai pata!
Nanny (with a baby face): exactly…..mujhe bhi nahi pata….toh hum kaise jayenge???
Nanny thought that she'd understand but much to her surprise….geet started crying!!
Geet : nahi….mujhe jaana hai……mujhe…..(sob) janaa…(sob)….jaana hai!!!
Nanny : but baby ji…aapne mamma papa se poocha hai kya??? Aur aap toh unka ghar bhi nahi jaanti toh….
Nanny tried to console her but nothing worked. She kept on crying and saying, " mujhe jaana hai…..muhe jaana hai…"
Nanny tried to call jasmeet and Mr. handa. But they were probably held up in a meeting. So nanny thought it wiser not to disturb them.
At the same time, in KHURANA MANSION:
Maan(shouting): mamma…..shweetu iss comin! SHE ISS COMING.
He started jumping around! Avantika smiled at their innocence. But did his sweetu know their address??? May be yes….they have exchanged phone numbers afterall……she thought.
Maan told…..no…no….he ordered the servants to get cakes and chocolates for his sweetu. He asked the servants to get the milkshake ready and himself got ready in his best clothes to greet his sweetu!!!
TIME 7:00 pm
LOCATION: LONDON
Jasmeet and Mr. handa reached home. An extraordinary sight welcomed them. THE WHOLE HANDA HOUSE WAS IN A COMPLETE MESS!
Cushions thrown here and there….toys scattered, books thrown and god knows what not!!! To add to their surprise, their little princess sat on the couch crying her eyes out! Servants stood lined up like an army battalion…one holding chocolates, someone holding soft toys, someone carrying her milkshake, someone trying to sing a lullaby….uff!
Kawaii doesn't have patience to write what else they did to cheer up their li'l angel!
Nanny sat by geet trying to console her! When asked the matter of disaster, she narrated the whole incident to the couple! Mr. handa asked everybody to go away. Her made geet sit on his lap and jasmeet sat besidre them.
Mr. handa: gudiya….kya baat hai…aap roo kyun rahi hain???
Geet (sobbing): woh….woh…..mujhe mishtel khulana ke ghal jaana hai ….a…aul (=aur) mujhe nahi pata ke unka ghal kahan hai!!!
She cried and cried and cried. Her eyes were swollen and she looked like a red tomato!
Jasmeet (to console her): achcha….to isme roone waali kya baat hai beta….tum jab school jaana to apne friend ka address use le ana aur phir uske ghar chali jaana!
Geet didn't stop crying eve though she thought the idea was great!!! Instead she said, " par mamma…..meine unhe kaha tha ke mein aa lahi (=rahi) hoon aul (aur) m…mein nahi gayi……who mujhpe gu…gussha (=gussa) kalenge (=karenge). He won't shpeak to me!"
Kawaii wonders st the notion of this li'l angel….she wasn't crying because she couldn't go….she was crying because Maan would feel bad!
Jasmeet and Mr. handa were touched by her words…..she sure was very small but her understanding was so mature…..so pure……..
Geet (still crying): mamma mujhe jaana hai…aap le chalo na…pleej…pleej….he won't shpeak to me…..pleej!!!
The couple couldn't see their princess so sad!
Jasmeet (finally): oye geet…..tere paas apne dost ka koi contact no hai kya???
Geet handed her over the piece of paper on which she had Maan's phone no. jasmeet immediately called Khurana mansion!
TIME: 7:15 pm
LOCATIN: KHURANA MANSION
Chocolates were thrown in the trashcan! Chocolate milkshake adorned the stark white kitchen sink!!! Maan's room was in a complete mess. He sat on his bed with his hands crossed over his chest…his cheeks puffed up!
Avantika: Maan….yeh sab kya hai???
Maan (angrily): shweetu ne mujhe jhoot bola…..woh nai aayi! Mein usshe (=use) kabhi baat nai kalunga (=karoonga).
Avantika was trying hard to control her laughter!
Avantika: bte…shayad kuch problem hus hoga!!! Achcha kya tumne use apna address diya tha???
Maan thought for a while. Then he realized what happened!
Maan ( looking at his mum from the corner of his eyes): no
Avantika: dekha….usse to ghar nahi pata…tab woh kaise aati???
Maan: par ushne muhe pehle kyun nahi poocha??? Mein usshe baat nai kaloonga!
A call distracted them!
Avantika: hello…Khurana Mansion!
Jasmeet: ji Namaste…mein jasmeet handa baat kar rahi hoon…. Geet…..mera matlab hai, sweetu ki mamma ! kya mein sweetu ke friend ke parents se baat kar sakti hoon???
Avantika (delighted): arrey…..ji haan…mein aapke sweetu ke friend ki mamma bol rahi hoon! Woh aaj to aayi nai??
Jasmeet told her everything…the havoc she created in their house and her non stop crying!!! Even avantika described Maan's anger! Both the ladies laughed and talked for a long time! They decided they'd meet at KM the next day as it was a Saturday and their school remained closed! It would be good for both Maan and geet and for the ladies to meet up as well!!
