I kind of feel bad for this couple. They are indeed very talented and always sound very humble too ! 😛

Unfortunately Rajeev is not a top class choreographer and we don't get to see the best of this duo. If they were in Marzi's team, then probably they would have received much more appreciation and would have performed different dances with props and all that.

The same goes with Vikki-niharika as they are also in similar situation. They both are of course very talented. Rajeev needs to really buckle up considering this is now final 6 and competition is tough. The dances that Amit-Falon and Kornali performing are indeed top-class. I am sure given proper guidance Karan and his darling can perform those as well.

Rajiv of course is a superb dancer himself and very unbiased judge. However as a choreographer, he def isn't matching up to Geeta and Marzi.

You correctly said Arjun. He is veryyyyyyy humble and unbiased but when it comes to choreography, he is not that good. Now ofcourse some of his concepts have been really well 😃

I don't blame him though :) His assistants are not that good themselves. Whereas Geeta got lucky with D-sir and Mini. And marzi I think is an awesome choreographer himself, haven't heard much about his assistants.

I agree, feel the same.
I like Rajeev for his honesty ..and he has given some one-off beautiful choreographies for Vikku-Nikku, but he does lack in comparison to Geeta and Marzi.
Way in the beginning, he did not use Ponnu-Mallu also properly and hence they were out right at the beginning.

Rajeev had lovely choreography on Saturday. I enjoyed it.
I am surprised Karan n Carling did well in Indian dances too.

I agree that he is weaker than other two choreographers but his concepts are very inovative. I cannot blame his assistants as Rjeev is the supervisor, it's his duty to make sure every choreography is upto mark as it's his name that is used as a choreogrpher. Secondly, he is the one who decisides who is going to assist him (correct me if I am wrong) so why blame them at all.
As for the couple, I don't think as a couple they are good, Karan obviously is superb, sadly Carling is not always good, even if she is good at the dancing, she never gives any expressions which is very important for indian platform.

Well, I don't agree that Rajeev is not a top class choreographer. I think he choreographs pretty well actually. But, his choreography does seem simpler than that of Geeta and Marzi. And after watching the show for a while, I am thinking it is cuz Rajeev tries to put a lot of dance in it. and he doesn't focus on the wow factors a performance could have. he does put lifts in it and all, but the amount of "dance" in the choreography far exceeds all this. and so, his choreography seems simple. the other masters put in more "wow" stuff. which is a very good thing cuz it makes the choreography look more complicated and intricate and so u enjoy it more. despite rajeev having interesting concepts, he needs to wow the audience more. i am guessing that is his problem.

i apologize if what i said above made no absolute sense.😆 i tried to put my thoughts in the best way possible. but, it does seem like i'm rambling.😆

and like joyce said, i don't think an assistant should be blamed for anything. it is the choreographer's job to supervise. and all or most of prithvi-vivek's performances were choreographed by geeta's assistant. or at least it looked like it. and PV left. now is it cuz the assitant was incapable? 😕 PV had some average performances too. was the assistant incapable?

and i agree with joyce on the part about KC. i think the problem lies within carling's dancing abilities more than rajeev's choreography. i love them (more than cornali anyway). but that is what i think.

@Arjun: it is CORnali, not KORnali!😆 just letting u know!😳

Karan Babu is Top Notch. Simi Beti's most favorite, she has good eyes. Love his flowy movements.
This week he is in danger together with Vikram I think.

Sorry, but this couple has been very inconsistent. There have indeed been very few performances of theirs that I have been able to enjoy thoroughly. The thing is there is this disparity between the level of dancing between Karan and Carling...with the former overshadowing the latter. Also, Karan is much more robust with dance types...but we still see some contemporary aspects in his dance steps, which may or may not add to the beauty of the performance. But it doesn't er, fit in quite well with a different dance genre. Anyways, then there Carling who, although has been improving, is still wayy behind the standard of DID...I think there have only been 1-2 performances where I've noticed Carling..

I agree with Rappy Di about Rajeev's choreography. Plus, Rajeev doesn't have an assistant, whereas Marzi does, and Geeta has been in the show for 3 years and therefore, knows her way about.

😉 May be Rajeev is not a world top class choreographer.... but he is surely good.
At least better than the one who was praised for his immature innovation...😆
😆 but if indians think that it was innovative... hardly to see.... what can i say...???
😉 I think Karan is too good to dance in DID...
I do feel that he had learnt many compare to any DID contestants or may be even
the mentors. He could do far far better but the choreographies do not challenge him..
Coz when i saw he danced to the ghost song... i knew he just far than just good...
his awkwardness .... just so different....
😉 Carling may be not great but i just love her for dancing like a lady... not a tomboy..
or a sensual dancer... she just match Karan well...

The real thing is DID is always just an acting competition....
Dancing wise... DID is just far way behind the other international shows.
Honestly... i like this show.
But I just hate it when talents and hardworks are not recognised.
One example.... Prithvi and Vivek... Why did the public send them home... why?
They had entertained you for weeks...they always have good choreography.....
they never fail their tasks...
if compare to those cute double... who never come synchronisely...
and with those amateur choreographies...sigh...
😕
