"Anything can happen on TV' writes Mr Pranjal Saxena, in his post to us asking us to keep the TRPs up inspite of MR leaving the show......
All I want to say to Mr Saxena, this is not 'anything' as this is always happening on TV, this is nothing new, there is no novelty to it.....Yes when Kekta did it a decade ago it was new and people accepted but now every other serial is doing the same thing...it is time we changed...
To be very frank, I would have loved if the show would have ended with MR's departure...not because he is leaving but the show was poised in such a way a nice ending could be seen....instead of rushing through the episodes the last few days in order to bring a new track in, they could have shown a nice climax and ended it wonderfully with all of us giving the show a heartfelt goodbye and shedding a few tears too to see it end instead now I am running away from the show, do not want to see it butchered and mercilessly killed, and like me, many are doing the same.
Friends, in one interview Ekta had said I do not want to end the shows as then the artists and the crew become jobless, that was maybe true 10 years ago, today India has so many channels, even the regional channels are doing well, there are many artists who work in no. of serials at one time (not as lead of course) I know of Bengali artists who work both in Hindi and Bengali shows...if competitions are high so is work...I doubt if any actor who has potential gets to sit at home....if not anything else there are various reality shows...
All I want to say to Mr Saxena and to all the Channel people, PHs out there, please do not show us 'Anything' instead show us 'Something' something to remember for a long long time...your thoughts friends, Love Tin
