Hi Tin, Totally have to agree with you, I did feel that LTL had lost its magic from when Dutta had the accident, all the episodes after that was a drag.....I even enjoyed when we had the Supriya's track, becoz atleast then we got such amazing Tasha and Dutta scenes........ I luved the first marriage track, MR was superb in expressing the feelings of Dutta at that point......I watch LTL solely for MR, and will stop watching it once he leaves, but still feel bad that a program that I am so attached to will be going down so badly.
I had loved LTL becoz it was so different, from the sets to the wonderful actors like AG and VR ,
to the way the story was treated, even certain scenes which we have seen in many other serials and movies were done with a twist, the CVs did surprise me a few time, especially when Dutta freed Nakku after she saves the whole family in the mandir, totally unexpected. There was something that was dark and classy about LTL, which seemed to be missing since Jan......(I am not talking about the editing, bloopers, camera angles....etc,enough has been said abt that already and I totally agree with all )
They undid all the work they put into building a larger than life Dutta.....and the twisted evil minded kala, they finally turned both of them into regular people seeking revenge, like every run of the mill serial. I was very dissappointed with the way Kala's truth was revealed to Dutta and also the confrontation. Why build such complex characters, if you cannot sustain that till the end. After the FR this was something I was looking forward to. Though I did not like it that Nakku waited until after the wedding to reveal the truth, but Dutta's hearfelt talk in the SR more then made up for it. But the Dutta-Kala confrontation was a big let down, was looking forward for something awesome, but the CV's clearly did'nt quite make it.
I think the way Dutta confronted Anna was more interesting , atleast we saw the true Dutta, who planned a way to attack and rescue Nakku. But today's Epi was sooooo filmy.......I was hoping till the last minute they would show some twist.......But guess am just expecting too much.
This was the only serial that I was watching for more than a year now, now I realize why I stopped watching indian soaps so many years ago, guess this would be the last one, am better off watching other English serials, atleast they have a fixed number of episodes per season, so we don't have to suffer in quality :)
