Question about Dev

I've watch only a few episodes now and am enjoying the show. I am not understanding Dev's relationship to the purohit family. Why do they keep referring to him as the servant? Can someone tell me?

Well, in everyone's eyes, Dev is a son of an employee of RP and thus everyone refers him as Servant. But actually, he is not. Rather he is a Son of the family. But the exact relation hasnt been disclosed yet.

its a hidden secret from all from purohiths and also from viewers yaar.........only dadaji know who is Dev.....
he is the youngest son of the family and also next RP..........
dadaji new it....but now dadaji can't talk na..........................😔
so we have to wait......but love the story soo much yaar wow

Because they all think he is the son of a servant, and then Dadaji adopted him. But Dadaji is having a secret about Dev. He could also be his grandson, so lets see! 😉 Wondering what has happen to Dev parents.
