Prem utters his first words. Smriti and Purva are sad that Prem is to leave. Shamal sit shamelessly listening to songs on the boombox. He says it's Purva's fault. He says Purva shouldn't intefere with people. Aakashi yells Shamal for not sympathizing with Purva. Purva requests Rama to stay with them so that they can bring up Prem together. Rama refuses, and insists that Purva should suffer by giving Prem up. Shamal tells Gomti about Purva filling Aakashi's mind with doubts about him. Mihir insists that Prem be given a happy farewell. Purva agrees, and the family plans a farewell party for him. Purva tries to cheer the upset Aakashi up. The sisters support each other through this tough time.
