It's over two months now that Hiten Tejwani (Karan of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) hasn't logged on to the Internet to check his e-mails. An otherwise net savvy guy, this actor has been missing his favourite pastime after his R-Connect data and voice card was deactivated.

According to the actor, the service providers had withdrawn the Internet access on the grounds of non-payment of bills. However, Hiten claims he has cleared all the bills and inspite of taking innumerable rounds of the R-World office at Lokhandwala, the service has not been resumed.

Harassed Hiten

"I'm appalled at the customer service of a reputed company like Reliance. Even after having paid my bills, I'm deprived of the connection. They have turned a deaf ear to the repeated complaints that I have lodged," fumes the actor. Problems started brewing when the service providers claimed of not having received the charges for the month of January.

When Tejwani provided a statement that clearly shows the payment has been made, officials at the R-World office took note of it and assured him of resuming the services.

Problems persist

After a few weeks the actor was left facing the same problem. This time he visited the R-World officials with the receipts and other documents but he was shown the door saying, "Our records say you haven't paid the January bill."

Adds Tejwani, "They ill-treated me and hurled words at me. In fact, they asked me to leave and return only after clearing the bills, which I've already paid for. I don't know how Reliance can hire such irresponsible and uncouth people."

A/c number woes

He further adds, "The bill amount was transferred from my personal bank account to the reliance account. Now they have asked me to get the account number where the amount was credited. I have visited the bank and got the information that it's the right Reliance account. I've informed them, but till date my connection remains deactivated."

The actor is more hassled because he hardly has time to keep running around, thanks to his hectic schedule.

"As it is I'm hard pressed for time because of my choc-a-bloc schedule. I'm amazed how a bunch of officials can simply getaway harassing a customer. In fact, tiffs between the customers and the executives at this R-World branch are a regular scene."

it happns wid my bro all the tym 😆 ... he gets really frustrated bcuz he cant sms his gf ... my sis and i keep teasing him about it 😉

If I were him, i would have written to Mr. Anil Ambani. ANd then also if results would not have come, then i would have filed a case on Reliance Infocomm. Surely.

Its high time yaar.....2 months ????? Reliance should resume his conection and compensate for that.
