Important

Well I m here to let u all know about the DT's displeasure on the changing atmosphere in the forum ...Lately it has been noticed that there has been too much repetitive and (sometimes) negative topics in the forum .. members taking pot shots at others .. this is so not done .... LTL used to b such a lively forum with healthy discussions & members respecting each other views ..

Negativity & Repetitiveness

Members are allowed to criticize and voice their dislike for certain aspect(s) of the show.. but the same thing is not allowed in repetition .. there is a place (or a thread) for each type of discussion and bringing up the seemingly "negative" aspects of the show in EVERY thread becomes redundant after a while... Not to mention, it's considered spamming ... Just as we dont allow other topics such as promos , precaps, updates, SBS/SBB threads to b repetitive ..the same way criticism of the show with respect to the SAME points is also not appreciated in every thread ... In an attempt to dissolve this issue, we're going to be opening a "Complaints" Thread that will be made a sticky every weekend.. We'll be posting more on that towards the end of this thread..

& just as repetitive topics for cricitism aren't allowed, the same goes 4 MR exit articles - while we understand that MR's exit is a big shadow looming over our show/forum but we cant carry out the same discussion on & on in every thread,, this is also considered spamming.. We have multiple threads already posted to discuss MR's exit so kindly carry out ur discussions there only instead of creating a new thread or discussing in other threads like EDT/Written Updates ... Currently we have a MR-leaving related article posted and so it's expected that all discussion about his exit should be continued in that said thread..

Difference of Opinions

We have got many complaints about members imposing their views on others?.. Every member is allowed to express their opinions & one should respect that ,, if a certain member doesn't like it they should just ignore it or discuss it out in a healthy way & should not by any mean impose their views on others ,, & this goes 4 both the parties in the discussion .. Plzz do not take pot shots at other members or get personal during a discussion ..Any speech direct or indirect, which constitutes a personal attack against another member is not allowed .. & if a member is found to b doing this, it would result in get his/her Warning Level increased without any notice ..

Regarding Newbies

Lately we have seen many new members joining the forum and that has resulted in an almost unexpected turn of events. We welcome any new AND old members here & EVERYONE is most welcome to post in the forum & take part in discussions. But if any "newbie" is found to be an MID (Multiple IDs) of an otherwise existing member with the intent to spread negativity in the forum .. strict action would be taken against them. Just to clarify, MIDs are not allowed on IF and if you find a member using MIDs please report it to the us and we'll look into it ASAP.

That being said, we feel the need to remark about the absolutely unwelcoming and sometimes inappropriately harsh behavior of our older members towards the newer ones.. We've always been a forum that has thrived on it's ability to welcome new members and different opinions. However, lately just the fact that a member is NEW in the forum is enough to paint an imaginary bulls-eye on them and make them a target to sometimes malicious comments. We understand our frustrations with respect to the uncertainty surrounding MR's future in the show.. & we understand our need to put up a strong front as a result. But if THIS is what our forum is reduced to - to new members being considered guilty solely because they are new and they joined the forum now as opposed to 6 months ago - if a mere (possible) coincidence of timing is enough to make us suspect each other and forget all civility,, then we have to say with regret that those wishing to see us lose have already won.. And that breaks our hearts. Because this forum was always above petty blows and vicious remarks - especially against new members. However, that can't be said of late.

Complaints/Concerns/Suggestions

As many are unhappy with the way the show is shaping up the DT has decided to make a Complaints Thread .. This thread would be made a sticky every weekends u can list ur concerns , suggestions or anything u wanna convey to the CVs or actors ..

You are encouraged to post any constructive criticism regarding any aspect of the show in that one thread. And it will be considered your responsibility to find that thread and post in there during the week should you feel the need. Posting new topics in an attempt to voice our dislike for the CVs or the production house/channel will not be allowed. Additionally,, if and when someone incharge does visit the forum, I'm sure they'd find it much easier if all the complaints were compiled in one thread as opposed to them having to search through the forum to find threads over a span of weeks..

Last but not the least thanxx to all the members who made use of the REPORT button .. We appreciate your help and your patience in the matter - since we can't be everywhere all the time, it was a great help to be "alerted" to any issues that might have needed to be addressed..

Thanx a lot
Looking 4ward to ur help & co-operation

I hope I'm allowed to comment here but thanks a ton.It was much much needed at this point in time. I am aghast at members' zero tolerance for any sort of constructive criticism of the show or the actors. That is what forums & discussion groups are all about. Discussing both the good & the not so good aspects of the subject in question. When I was a newbie not knowing better I would post scathing remarks about our female lead Nakusha's continued hiding of her true face from Dutta. Still members would patiently explain her circumstances & her side of the story. That was our charming old forum. But yesterday I merely expressed dislike over one of the dance move by MR & MV in a thread started by me & had one member jump on me telling me to keep my "negative" comment to myself. This is a public forum where thousands are members and express a myriad of views. So long we do not cross any lines of civility we should be able to express our views freely & should be prepared to hear digressing views too.

Thanks Shabz...this was needed. Just one thing...I dont think its fair to restrict the number of negative threads to just one while any number of positive threads are allowed. But you do have a point that having it all in a single thread will be easy for people concerned to find. I hope some middle path is worked upon.

Exactly my thought, which I was too big of a chicken to voice myself 😆

I personally see an equal number of repetitive negative and positive threads being closed by mods....so I don't see anything "unfair" there.

And I don't see the need for ppl to open 20,000 threads about the "injustice" and "lack of face time" supposedly being given to Dutta/MR and how the show is down the drain......I'm sure one thread is enough for ppl to keep on regurgitating the same pointless stuff over and over again.

@Anu: Something might seem pointless to me if I disagree..but it may make a point to people who agree. I dont think we must dismiss all critical/negative threads as pointless and repetitive. These might end up helping the CVs correcting themselves if they read them. Everyone needs critics balance them.
Anyways how negative threads are handled is the DT's decision as they know the best. I am fine with whatever they decide.

Ksh, I don't know if you're understanding my point on this. There is a difference b/w the random newbies in this forum posting stuff and the paranoid rambling about "lack of focus" on Dutta/MR.....it's not just about me disagreeing, it is OBVIOUS to anyone who watches the show without a paranoid bend to their mind that there is no such thing.....yet to make like a MILLION topics about the SAME thing? What purpose does it achieve? Saying the SAME thing a million times over is not going to give some random "epiphany" to the creatives as certain ppl think. This achieves no purpose other than to clutter the forum with repetitiveness and clogging the potential for good discussion.

Anyways, the mods can do what they deem fit.

@Anu: I dont think you are understanding my point either. Which is calling any and every criticism senseless. Anyways lets agree to disagree!
