If anybody thinks that song was not good enough, it only goes to show how much people expect from Karunya. His worst singing probably is still better than many other's best.

Karunya ruined Sonu's song? Well, Sonu himself didn't seem to think so...after years of successful playback singing, people would credit Sonu with some sense in music I hope.

Thank god Indian Idol still has Karunya to boast about at stage of the competition! He sang each of the four songs beautifully and provided wholesome entertainment last night. I don't usually compare songs sung here with originals, but the last song, I enjoyed it even better than the original...and what about 'Afrin Afrin'...a semiclassical composition sung so effortlessly, it was a treat to the ears. 👏 👏

👏 👏 I second that. I didn't think it was bad at all. Actually I don't really like that song much and really don't like the "crying-style" in which it was sung by Sonu. His rendition of the song was not bad, and by no means was besura - maybe besura to those who cannot really comprehend the difference between sur and besura. This is my opnion and if others think Sandeep rocked and was the most sureela in the whole show..more power to you and have fun voting!

REx agree with ya...Man couldnt listen to that song. It was so damn besura and karu says he wasnt feeling well..cmon wat kind of excuse is it>(poor guy he knew he sang realli badly)
IF sandeep would have sang that song everone would have loved it!!

Whether Karu was Besura or Lacking energy (which ever way you want to believe it), doesnt it prove that he is not as good as you think or the judges trying to portray about him? He has weaknesses man..and he is just little better than Sandeep(in singing only and not in voice, charm and other factors), so there is no point in bashing sandeep and over promoting Karunya. keep your cool man.
