Roadies to be adapted internationally; Pakistan first to lap it up
Roadies that has been airing in India for eight long years is already very famous in Pakistan, and our producers are now planning to cash in on the popularity.
Sources state that Pakistan has bought rights to this format, and soon a show will be on air on our local televisions.
Old episodes of Roadies are already aired on MTV Pakistan, and get quire good reviews.
Pakistan is the first country to have bought MTV's unique adventure reality show Roadies from Viacom 18.
Senior VP, Sales and Marketing Aditya Swami says, "Roadies no more belongs to just India. This format has now been licensed internationally and very soon, we are going to see Roadies come up in many other parts of the world."
Raghu Ram who is back with the show's newest season says, "Roadies is an original idea, it's not an international format, in fact it is the first show that will be remade in the world."
