Why Rajeev prefers Viku-Niku

I was wondering why Rajeev always gives his best concepts to Vikram-Niharika and not Karan-Carling although both are fab dancers.I mean be it Katputli,chand or the last one.He gave Karan-Carling only that dumma-dumma that was different.I think its because both Karan and Vikram are good dancers but Niharika is better than Carling so may be he feels that Viku-Niku will execute his ideas well.I dont know the reason but just thinking aloud.What do you guys think?

I havent felt that.. In some episodes, K-C had better acts than V-N and vice versa at times.. It all matters whether the acts click to the viewers or not.. Maybe Rajeev might have thought both as having the same effect when he puts the ideas together, but one tends to shadow out the other - same for all teams at times.. I think all masters wish the best for all their dancers, but some concepts dont click and sometimes the dancers mess up - even some small mistakes affect the overall performance..

Well i agree with you all masters give their best to the contestants.I am not saying that he gives Karan-Carling bad choreography he has given them excellent choreography.But i was talking about his different, innovative and out of box concepts like the Katputli,chand or the last one he always chooses Vik-niharika for such things.Once he made karan-carling do that dummy act also then Vik-Niharika werent there.But generally Vik-Niharika only get such acts so was wondering why because i think Karan-Carling are also good.

I guess he has some restrictions when it comes to K-C, since Karan's right arm doesnt work well after his accident.. So he has to be careful with the steps he gives them so that Karan's arm doesnt get hurt or come in the way of the act.. Just a guess... Also Nikku is more aggressive and expressive than Carling..

I think its mainly bcz Niharika is very strong technically!! All the amazing perfromances of Vikku-Nikku needs lots of strength! Maybe thats the reason!!

It depends on what their good at, and what they can show off. likw the puupet dance. Niharikha has the PERFECT puupet look ❤️

I agree to some extent. Majority of the better acts from Rajeev have been from Viku-Niku. This could possibly be because Viku-Niku have more fan following (Viku gets a lot of stage time due to his wife and the baby), or maybe because as Akanna mentioned, Rajeev does not want to take a chance with Karan due to his arm, or maybe because Carling is too graceful and soft to bring out spunk in the louder acts, etc.

Personally, I think Karan-Carling are technically better, however Vikram is a lot more versatile than Karan and the audience can connect better with Viku. As for Niharika, I still think she is one of the weakest female dancers on the show. I loved Niharika on DPL, but her weakness is transparent on this show. She lacks finesse, grace, and balance in her moves (IMO).

Change the title of your thread. From title it seems Rajeev was biased towards VN and against KC.

It's all based on the ability of the dancers as a couple. Both Vikram and Niharika are strong dancers, so they get more complex dances. Karan is very strong, but Carling is not as strong, so he gives acts that both couple can do well in. Why would he give them an act they might not be excelling in? He cares about both of them and wants everyone to see their strengths.
