7th March Written Update for Sabki Laadli Bebo
Amrit takes off his shirt in the bathroom. Manjeet comes into the room. Amrit calls out Bebo to get him a shirt while he is washing his hands and face. Manjeet comes into the bathroom and turns off the main tap while Amrit has the soap on his face. He moves his hand under the tap but there is no water, then he tries to pick the towel but Manjeet picks it up. Amrit says oh I see Bebo this is you doing all this (Amrit has his eyes closed due to soap, looks quite funny). Amrit says I already cant see due to the soap, pls give me the towel. Manjeet runs away and Amrit follows him into the bedroom. They run after each other untill Manjeet falls onto the bed. Amrit partially falls on him and says alright now I caught you. He removes soap from his eyes and sees Manjeet. Meanwhile Bebo comes into the room with the breakfast tray and is surprised to see Amrit n Manjeet in this position. Amrit gets up picking up the towel. He turns around and sees Bebo. (Why didn't Amrit shout at Manjeet that what the hell are you doing here ??? 😡)
Everyone is sitting around Saru. ( This labor has got too long, i guess...) Saru again expresses her concerns but Ashok reassures her. Saru says if you are asked to save either this child or the mother, please save this child. Ashok says what is this, nothing is more dear than you. Saru says but nothing is more dear than this child to me. This is the happiness that I want to give you and this family. Papaji reassures her that nothing would happen. Saru says Papaji do remember your promise about the protection of my baby. The doctor comes in and tells them that they'll have to take Saru now. Saru keeps repeating that nothing should happen to her baby. Ashok says Babaji would make everything go well.
Bebo says Amrit you are still not ready, the breakfast is here too. Amrit quickly goes into the washroom. Manjeet is about to leave too when Bebo stops her and asks her how come you are here. Manjeet says I was passing by and heard Amrit calling out for the shirt so came in and whatever you saw was an accident, dont take it wrong. Bebo says no, its ok. (She still seems upset.) Amrit comes out of the washroom and AmBo exchange an awkward moment. Bebo hands Amrit the shirt and tells him to have his breakfast,she has a lot to do in the kitchen. But Amrit stops her by hand. Amrit asks her if she is upset but she says no. Then he turns her around towards him and lifts her face. Amrit says then look at me and then say this. Don't you trust me ? Bebo says I do Amrit but it just seemed awkward. Amrit says yes it was awkward but it is just a misunderstanding and there was nothing like that. Bebo says I have chosen my favorite shirt for you, do wear that. Amrit says as you wish.
Saru's stretcher is being pulled and the whole family is moving with it. (Emotional look exchanges..) Saru is taken in and the door closed. The blanket person is seeing all this from a corner.
Amrit is preparing to leave and Bebo is walking with him to the door. Manjeet comes running and says I think someone has forgotten that tauji appointed another person to work with him on the same project and the other person lives in the same house. Bebo says yes Amrit you can take Manjeet coz both of you have to go to the office. ( Aaarrrggghhh Bebo !!!)
Sunaina is in the Naari Niketan (NN) office with the accountant lady and is talking about money tranfers on phone. GG are listening from behind the door. Sunaina instructs the accountant to check all the accounts properly before the audit as it involves 180 crore rupees. Then the accountant lady locks a drawer, takes the key and leaves with Sunaina for a meeting.
GG come inside and Gursheel frantically checks all the drawers. LOCKED !!! Goldie says why are you doing all this ? Gursheels says this matter involves 180 crores and we have to kick out this accountant and take her position so we know how much can we get out of all this. Goldie says oh so from small thefts to a a big one... Gursheel says not a theft, a "ghaban" (big fraud).
Amrit is working in his office and Manjeet comes in and asks what am I suppose to do today ? Amrit dryly replies that look at the 10-year file for Arora and Sons and then make a report. Manjeet tries to find the file on the table and says its not here. Amrit tells her to check the shelf. She continues to pretend of not not being able to find it and keeps asking Amrit. Finally Amrit gets a little irritated and gets up and gives the correct file to her. He goes back to work. Manjeet drops some files on purpose and says they are so many, I'm not being able to pick it up. (Abhi pehle to ek hi thi... ?) Amrit says take it one by one then. Manjeet is upset at the neglect. She sits in front of Amrit and starts looking through the files...( looking more at Amrit though...) Amrit says Manjeet go and study this in your room, Im busy and I have a meeting as well. Manjeet leaves.
Everyone is waiting outside the OT. Ashok says that you all should go home and take some rest but Daljeet says no we will stay. Papaji says no, you all leave and Ashok you too, no one has slept since yesterday. Ashok insists on staying but Papaji says there is still some time, you can come around the delivery and then I'll leave. Ashok says okay I'll drop all of them home and then come back. Papaji sits down and everyone leaves. ( I thought some lady esp moms are suppose to stay and not papajis... 😆). The blanket person is again looking.
Manjeet is sitting idle in her office. Veer comes in and asks for a file. He says you are looking very nice at the place you are sitting. When Manjeet stares at him quizzically he says I mean the file is in the drawer near to where you are sitting. At first Manjeet rudely replies and asks him to take it out himself but on hearing that Amrit has asked for this file, she thinks if the file didn't reach Amrit then he would have to come himself. Thus she makes Veer sit. He insists that Amrit sir needs it urgently but Manjeet says dont worry. She asks him his name again and says wow what a great name. Veer says my work is great too. Manjeet says yes you are much appreciated by Amrit sir. Veer happily says I'm given all the challenging work. He starts telling his stories of work. Manjeet is just listening to him to pass the time. Manjeet thinks I am just waiting for Amrit.
Saru is having labor pains. The doctor comes out and instructs her staff to make the arrangements for the operation. She tells Kuku to sign some papers including an undertaking about who would you like to save, the mother or the baby if there is some danger. The doctor tells him that the baby has rotated itself inside and that is why there are some complications, we'll try our best but... Kuku is deep in thought and the doctor then hands him the papers. He signs some papers and then asks how much is the survival chance. The doctor replies that I don't want to give you false hope, survival chances are quite low.
