what wrong with the indian serials??

You know it is so uncanny that in most of the indian serials the leads actors fall in love with each other , make promises of getting married , but due to some reason (often another person) do not....why cannot they make a serial when things are happy and then create a story from there....agar aise life main hua then i guess everyone would need to be of prozaz ( antidepressant drug)😃
