when she dresses in Western outfits she gets bullied by media. I think she feels comfortable in sarees, its her look and it suits her.

I feel her acting more than makes up for it! :)..She has the acting finesse, her clothing? I suppose a frame of reference to a particular actress known for her apt dressing would be best perhaps Vidya's experiences elude her ability to exactify for lack of that, an all-pervasive sense of inversion beyond something she rarely speaks upon which could be described as an absolute edge, subtle as sin, moon on the water.

well most women in india wear sarees which is our traditional outfit....so i dont see any problem vidya wearing sarees.....actress hai toh kya hua .....there is no such rule that actresses need to wear western clothes.....

I like Vidya in traditional clothes though I agree with some above that she needs variety. She looked perfect in Parineeta.
