Recap:
Maan and Geet wake up next to each other. Meera visits Dev at the jail. Vicky and Dev finally get to talk
Dev walked back to the private room with the constable. Meera saw Dev walk in with a lost look. He stared at her for long time. Worried, Meera walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Dev suddenly realized that he was back in the room with Meera. "Dev, are you okay baby?", she asked worriedly. Dev just threw himself in her embrace and cried his heart out.
Chapter 11
Geet came to the Khurana Mansion and walked around. "Dadi ma , Dadi ma", she hollered as she looked around here and there. Just then Vicky came down the stairs. "Hey my beautiful Bhabzz, and how are we this morning?", he asked as he gave her a light hug she gladly returned. "I am fine my sweet brother-in-law--" but she got cut off by Vicky's words, "Sweet, come on Bhabzz, you are calling me sweet. You could have another word like handsome, smart or even perfect." Geet laughed openly. When Vicky quietly glared at her, she tried to stop herself. "Ok Ok, I am sorry.", she said as she held her ears. "Let's try again. I am fine my handsome and smart brother-in-law. Better?" Vicky smiled and said, "yes much better even though you left out the perfect part." "So you noticed. Anyway, where is Dadi this morning? I know Maan went early to work for meetings." They both sat down at the dining table as Nakul served breakfast. "D went to some charity thing. I don't know exactly what's it was for. But ya." Geet nodded. They ate in comfortable silence for a few minutes.
"Bhabzz", Vicky said. Geet glanced up and said ,"Hmm." "Umm Bhahz, I have a question..", Vicky said hesitantly. "And since does Vicky Singh Khurana hesitate to say anything? I haven't seen that even once in the time I have known you.", she said playfully. Vicky laughed despite his worries. "I know, it's kinda new for me. But have you ever been in a situation where you want to tell someone an important truth but you just can't because you know you are end up hurting him or her. Geet sighed as she remembered how she had told the truth of her fake marriage to Maan. It was one of the painful times in her life and their relationship (note= I mentioned in the beginning that geet is not pregnant in this FF) "Yes, I remember. It was probably one the hardest not to mention painful things I have done." Vicky's expression fall as sadness took over this face but Geet continued, "But I also know how important honesty is any relationship no matter what kind of relationship it is. It may initially hurt you and the other person but in the long run, it's going to have a positive effect. Trust me.", she said as she placed her hand over his in assurance. Vicky smiled at his Bhabz and said, "Thanks Bhabz, you have no idea how much this helps. I guess I have some explaining to do." Geet tensed up and asked, "Is everything okay? You are not in trouble or something. I mean, do you need help with anything? Vicky was touched with his Bhabz's love and concern. Their bond had grown so strong in such a short amount of time. Vicky reached over and lightly squeezed her hand. "Oh my Bhabz, you worry too much. I am not in legal trouble or anything. I would tell you what it is but I have to tell someone else first." Geet smiled and said, "I understand"
"Ok Bhabz, I am gone for the day", he said as he rose from the chair "Oh ya, I wouldn't get used to this serious version of Vicky Khurana. He doesn't come out that often." Geet laughed and said, "Oh I know."
