This is my humble attempt to soothe ruffled feathers on the forum about this week's no-elimination and also try to advance my own theory on this.😛

I think the judges have been very, very smart in using the no-elimination power (I was pissed at them when they did not use it to save Ragini, who IMO should have been in the top 4 at least, but now I see they kept it for the right time). Just when we thought they no longer had it with them (reasons I had explained in another thread https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/39259613), they pulled it out of their hat like a hukum ka ikka. 😉

Consider: had Sushant not been injured, this week might have seen Mahi and Yana in the bottom two: Mahi because of her low scores and Yana because of her low vote count. Both Sushant and Chang have been consistently safe because of their popularity and strong performances. In the case of a face-off between Mahi and Yana, it is almost certain that Yana would have performed better and the judges would have chosen her. It is also apparent that this is what the judges want (their incredulity since Ragini got out when Mahi was safe has been barely disguised).

Sushant's injury upset the entire calculation. Now he landed in the bottom two along with Yana--a truly difficult decision. So they decided to buy time by announcing a no-elimination week. Next week, they are hoping that Sushant and Chang will be saved again and once Mahi lands in the bottom two, they get that chance to eliminate her.

So their decision has been calculated to favour neither Sushant nor Yana, but to try and get Mahi out.😈

The only way this can backfire is if Mahi gets a phenomenal vote count, larger even than Sushant and Chang, and is saved again...in which case I hope Chang won't be in the bottom two. Mere Chang ko kuch nahi hona chahiye!!!😆😳

Yeah agree........wrote somewhat similar in another thread.

The truth of the matter is that 'no eviction' twist has been brought to save both Sushant and Yana. The judges already have their set favourites for finals and that is Sushant, Yana, Chang. If it would have been Mahi against any of them.....there would have been an elimination but not with any of the other combinations coz the finals will be lack lustre with either of the three missing. So it hardly matters who outperformed in the face off.....judges want Sushant, Yana and Chang for finals. Ankita was right salman-yana are judges favourite.....but so are sushant-shampa and chang marischa.

Mahi being in the final 4 and being lucky every time is ruining the judges and the production house plans for finale.

Hey great post!!! I agree with this. Quite possible. Maybe the judges felt it was really unfair of Sushant or Yana to be eliminated when a contestant like Mahi is still there. So they used their own trick. 😆 Now I really hope Mahi gets eliminated next week. I really want Sushant, Yana and Chang in the finals--- they deserve it.

Do you guys really think that if Sony and JDJ wanted, they couldn't have put Mahi in the bottom two and eliminated her easily? This show has been called scripted numerous, numerous times, and there is no questioning that with the eliminations of Krushna, Ragini, WC entries, etc. So now too, if they are keeping Mahi in, it is very much according to their script...it gets them the drama needed to hype up the last stretch of the competition by making it gritty between the contestants and fills up the weeks till 8th March.

To believe that Mahi has more of a fan following and voting support than Ragini is laughable because it's not true AT ALL. This competition was rigged and it is still rigged. Who they've decide to keep and who they've decide to send off is according to what they're looking for at whatever point in the show it has been and that has been quite obvious to see. The contestants and eliminations have been in their hands to shape and direct...if anything, for the weeks coming into the finale, there will be even more scripting 😆 So no, the judges aren't being smart...they are puppets in the grand scheme of things too, just like the contestants and their fate...it's the channel and production house who are playing the show to what they think is its best potential and reach by creating such situations.
