Thanks Misti. Good to be back although not sure for how long. You are not the only one. I am totally with you on having difficulty to accept amma as amba dai.

However I feel a little differently about Father - daughter convo. Yes it was very loving and touching but it set alarm bells ringing in my head. I think the father just validated to Radhika that her mothers abuse was okay and that if you see someone else being abused its okay to brush it under the rug as long you compensate for it by showering tons of love on the victim.

Sorry, I just posted before reading your response to me. :)

Angake I took the conversations as the father telling the daughter that one does not need to be loved by everyone.....some will love u some won't. Interesting that we have got two different interepretations of the same conversation. I liked having these converstaions regarding character developement.........its good to know about some other version. If the creatives meant what you have picked up then I do not want Radhika to be taught that..........had enough of abuse survivor who was ping ponged around. Actually your interpretation might have a hint to how Radhika will be treating Dev.

In today's episode Radhika is quite only at home that's also because of her mother otherwise she is quite Natkhat when she is with other people...May be gradually she will come out of her shell as she will grow...I agree with you not easy to except Gopi Desai in positive role naturally AmmaJi comes back to your mind...But here she is shrew kind who has Dev interests at heart as i got the impression , go to any length for Dev, s welfare...Too much violence or negativity puts me off to any show,.that was the reason i was hooked to CB1 as there was little of all this stuff.except one person and in the beginning she had her reasons ....I think on the lines of CB1 story will progress and later on will take its on story-line....Waiting should be worthwhile..Essence of the previous show should be there....

Musti - Interesting conversation between you and Angake. You are good at reading between the lines... and the characters.

On the basis of Angake's take on the impact the abuse, and her father's advise, Radhika will grow up to shower tons of love on Dev, the other abused victim. She will be the forward one, defiant.. chasing after Dev.

The kids are cute and I liked little Dev's and Radhika's interaction today.
