The moment though simple and small ..voiced the only concrete truth of Maan's life, his very reason to live...Geet.
"She is carrying 'my' Baby. She is my Wife."
He introduced his Lady, his love to all of them.
Audience to this moment were the young girls who were all drooling over him, given he was not alone but with a beautiful and a little bossy, little possessive wife.
They dint bother with the info that he was all taken & made every move possible to get his attention.
But its Geet's attention that they received not her Maan's.
Like any normal wife she dint like her handsome husband being the center of attention of every female eye there.
She tries to hide him from their eyes, in attempt to do so ends up having to leave him on his own for a while till she fixes the mess of juice she dropped on herself.
She eyes them with anger & the girls who had seen her do her small 'hide & seek' thing watch her leave with amusement & hope. Hope to use her absence as a chance to attract Maan.
Immune to everything else Maan is all happy & settled now to have got 'their' time off to be with Geet.
Just them together, no work, no worries & no Dadi to act to. Just them both happy & together.
As they fail to attract his any attention & no way it seems that he is interested to even look their way..one of the lot makes a move & comes to him instead of waiting to catch his eye.
Her being there & all wanting to welcome him into any conversation does not interest or bother him in any way , to him she & the rest are as much non-existent at such close proximity as were at distance.
Just for politeness sake he says "Hello!" & then helps her back to her seat with her friends when she acts to faint & he has to catch her.
He walks away having left her with her friends who cannot get their eyes off him, nor Geet who returned back from the washroom to see her Maan helping the girl who was drooling on him a while back.
She rushes to him & claiming his arms she asks him what was all this about, Maan innocently gives her the truth.
She mumbles & shows her irritation towards the girls there & their drooling on him. She knows Maan is not interested in them, never has even bothered to look at any other girl but her, only her.
But she hates seeing all girls drool over him, all eyes on him & none even blinking.
She makes no attempt to hide from them or Maan her being possessive about him. Its her right as he is only hers.
Arrhh! Watching them not look away from Maan still....again she tries to hide him from their eyes.
But this time Maan notices her rosy cheeks & scrunch on her nose too clearly & teases her, loving every moment of it seeing her so possessive about him.
His eyes see on her face what every moment his heart feels when any other Maan looks at his Geet.
He is all hers , as she is his.
Simple truth & both don't refuse it, rather feel warm & happy about being at the receiving end of such strong emotions.
Happy at seeing Geet all red & cute he smiles at her , at himself content & in peace..only to be disturbed by a uproar that only gets one glance from him & understood.
The girl who made every attempt to catch his attention again tried a trick from the book.
Maan knows 'again' she is faking the drowning act as she did the fainting bit.
Geet who is all concerned for the girl unaware that one can risk so much to attract a man's attention pleads Maan to help her.
Maan does not refuse her & dives into the pool & comes out with her trying to hold tight to him.
The sight of that girl holding on to Maan & rest of the girls going all dreamy seeing him all wet & hot, makes Geet more angry, not at Maan or all these girls now , but on herself as to why did she ask him to help that girl & when he did it now only for her sake why is she feeling so bad about it.
Lost in self thought & the sight infront of her...she hears him speak.
He informs them that their every trick is waste on him, a futile attempt.
He points at Geet , who by now had a amazed look on her face having heard him show these atrocious girls their right place.
She smiles at him yet again as always assured of his love.
Looking at the only sight that makes his heart beat he voices the only truth he knows, He smiles & proudly introduces Geet to them.
"Meet her, She is carrying 'my' Baby. She is my Wife."

Can change the way I feel
Turn my thoughts from you
Because I'm yours
Always have been, always will
And you are mine
Forever.
He makes his way back to his life, his Geet.

A dear friend asked me why post on this particular scene..something that i msgd her & also shared as my thoughts here as comment ..i felt a need to add here too
I loved the way he voiced his respect & love for the 'Woman' , Geet first as the mother of his child & then as his wife.
And that is true too, he accepted his responsibility & gave Baby that place in his heart & life much before he became husband to her. He too is Baby's Papa first then Geet's hubby.
What a beautiful , divine, delicate yet strong bond they share
