How I hope this story is written well with Annie dealing with Arjun and defeating him all on her own. How I'm cheering for Annie to take hi down and his failing each and every time he tries to make their act known public.
I agree with RushTrip above. They had sex. Big Deal. He lied and made fake promises to get her in bed. Err, yeah happens all the time. She's hurt and got her heat broken. She'll t over it. Nothing in this is remotely some big revenge. But since Arjun wants to go that route.
Her family doesn't need to know a thing about them. She will deal with it own her own.

Yes. Just say it straight out, Annie. Her life isn't over. She is an 18 year old girl who had sex, albeit with a guy who wasn't serious and made fake promises. It's not the end of the world, nor is it a deal breaker.
