Hello friends! It's been a while since I wrote a post.đ
So, Krishna Baba gets an earful from bauji and heads to his sanctuary, the Adda for a tete-a-tete with Tunna. The two are brainstorming about a job for Krishna that would get Prats's stamp of approval, when Chandu arrives and being the loyal friend that he is, sacrifices his chances at earning a few bucks and let's Krishna have a 'shot' at it. What does Krishna do? Botches his best offer to date to pose for a few photographs and get paid, a job that doesn't require an education. Baba knows big words like compromise, restaurant, etc. but doesn't know chin, down, turn right, Behave like a spoiled brat telling the photograph how to do his job.
I may be among the few who thinks that Krishna's behavior today at the studio with the photographer was over the top. Granted he is a faithful and loyal husband to Prats but seriously he is taking it too far to claim Prats would be upset to see him photographed with another girl. He didn't mind Ms. Munni Badnam getting close to him at Twit's engagement.
What does he do in the end? Becomes badmaash Baba. Not only did he test the photographer's patience but as a thank you for giving him a chance at checking out the world of modeling he trashes the studio before he storms out. It's getting a bit stale watching Krishna throwing his weight around like old times asking the photographer "do you know who I am?" His insecurity is showing. He is not taking the initiative and realizing that he needs a basic education before he gets a decent job that is not laborious.
It's all well and good that he feels he is someone worth getting the attention but after knowing what his family is really all about when Kesar got buried, does it carry any weight to brag to every Tom, Dick and Harry about his identity? It's getting tedious. Will we see SS explode when he gets a bill for the damages at the studio? Or did Krishna fork over what little money he could have earned doing the photoshoot with some co-operation.
What is it about getting a job that drives Krishna up the wall? Mr. Lazybones? Here was the perfect opportunity to succeed at a job that required little education. Instead he botches it. One thing he still has going for him, he still believes he's the handsomest man in town.đ
Where is Prats in all thisđ¤? For an educated girl who preaches about it not being easy to find jobs without education, she has taken zero initiative to give him an education. For all the time she spends organizing her closet and straightening her room, which can wait, she could be spending some time educating Krishna in the basics so he doesn't return home with a bill for damages each time he ventures out looking for a job after she pressures him to find one every day. She is practically sending him blindfolded into the work world and his self-confidence is bound totake a hit every time he returns without success. The ball is now in her court..... how does Pratigya ban jayeeeeeeeeeeeeee this time.
Across town in Mumfordgunj, Komal is as usual being insensitive about Kesar once again. She's still the same girl who dragged her baujayi to the Thana to free SDS and KN without a second thought about Kesar's physical condition at the time. She talks down to Kesar all the timeđĄ, forgetting the depth of abuse her baujayi has faced at the hands of her family, the Takurs. She knows her family has killed Kesar's babies before yet she wants the woman to return to the Niwas without a second thought to how petrified she would be at the prospect of losing baby #6. Even after living among the Saxes and realizing that there is a different world out there where women are not treated like scum, she still fails to show compassion for Kesar and the years of torture she has faced from her family. That's nothing to be proud about.
Is Komal incapable of understanding Kesar's pain as a woman deprived of her right to be a mother over and again? What will it take Komal to empathize with Kesar's plight? She talks down to Kesar as if she is incapable of understanding the big picture, instead of finding some way of expressing gratitude to the woman who had a role in raising her as a child. Komal is still to young to understand what motherhood means. She is still thinking only about food most of the time besides winning Adarsh's attention and making sure he makes more money so she has a better quality of life in the future.
Kesar today spoke up for herselfđ. She appears sure of where she stands. Let's see if she will continue this going forward? With Komal ready to blow the whistle about Kesar's pregnancy to RED it's going to test Kesar's new found strength to stand up for herself.
This will be a real test for Kesar. Will she be ready to stand up for herself and stay away from the Niwas or will she be forced to move in with promises for her safety yet again from SS? Last time he promised her she would be Queen until the potha was born. That turned out to be a disaster of gigantic proportions. Will GD be active in protecting Kesar this time?đ
Naina as usual is the voice of people who live life to meet society's expectations. With Kesar gone missing acc' to Komal when SS shows up to pick her up tomorrow, how did she manage that? Did Twit or Shamu help Kesar go into hiding until her maike show up or did Komal have a change of heart? The latter seems a distant possibility given Komal never thinks that deeply about matters. Like Krishna she lives by the rules the Takurs have established and they are resistant to change. They both tend to believe that the world they grew up in is all good.
How long will it be before Komal finally grows up and sees the big picture? She needs to stop meddling in Kesar's life and mind her own. She's soon going to have Adarsh's underhanded activities to deal with and the fallout with the Saxes when that comes........the next Ganga-Jamuna-Bahana. Given she comes from a family that has little respect for the legal ways, she may well see Adarsh's incentive to make money by hook or by crook as admirable and may even brag about itđ¤.
