Bad and Sad News for Karunya Fans

Just saw the videos of the homecoming.

I think trying to make the people realise that Karunya is the better singer is futile. All the people voting for Sandeep are already aware of that. What hurts me is the bigger issue that transcends the Indian Idol stage. People want someone from their region to win so that can be their claim to fame.

I wish the people of india were more objective and fair and would vote for just talent and not be so stubborn about making a particular person win.

They showed that in Bikaneer some camps had been set up to vote constantly for Sandeep for 15 days. There were other people that were sending lakhs and lakhs of votes in. I don't think the well wishing fans of Karunya can beat that as no one is so obsessed with voting for Karunya.

I think Karunya is already a winner and this stupid title means nothing in terms of what we think of him. It will be India's loss and also the loss for SET as the CDs will not sell as much if Karu does not make the album.

I just wish India rises above this regionalism and we can be proud as a country to select and encourage the best without being biased. It is really very sad to see this happen so often, first with Saregamapa, then with II2.

Wow, thats sheer frustration my dear friend!!
When Sonu nigam says publically on II2 stage that a couple from Saudi arabia managed somehow to send 23,500 votes just for Karu in Semis, you guys are clapping hard and when same is happening in Sandy's hometown, why this expression....

The finals sud in fact be frsutrating for sandy fans as the way he was treated that day....all judges *except farah* lobbying for karu, celebs judges were seemed as if imported just to make an aura around karu....of course he's a good singer and he deserves more than what he has got so far....but being in top two also means a lot to Sandy - he's looking a career n believe it or not, on 18th April, he will again proove judges wrong......he's darling of millions......for sure
If this title is stupid, plz leave this for Sandy, he deserve it as he honors it....
not to offend any karu fan, this sud not be repeated as multiple votes are option for both contestents and if u have that much fan following with karu, sandy or his fans wont have any prb....then why wud u feel so....
leave it to the crazy ppl...what they want, let them decide....they are investing their own money to see their hero reaching the top of the top....take it like that....
Appeals from CM of AP, Nagarjuna and other cine stars coming on roads for karu's support, Mayor requesting hyderabadi to vote untiring for karu....well...everything is fair for Karu but if sandy fans do something crazy, it is universal problem..come on....be fair and sensible in your sayiing...both have equal opportunity and their fans have power to make their dream come true....its just a matter of how many does one have..thats it

(I tried not to reply this post but somehow, from past two days, enough has been said for karu and everything is turning against sandy - which is not fair.....and I can see fear in karu's eyes....in fact he knows how powerful (for any damn reason) sandy as a contestent to the title of II2 is to him...)

Very well said, malathi. Its in India's blood that they were, they are and they will be MISUSING their voting rights. Money buys everything. Exactly same thing happened on Fame Gurukul and Sa re ga ma pa. Indian public voted for Quzi and Debojit more than Rex and Vineet, knowing the fact that Rex and Vineet are more talented, hence more deserving than Qazi and Debojit. I will not be surprised if Sandeep wins because of this PAID JOB given to group of Boys and Girls to continously vote for Sandeep for 2 weeks. Actually, I will be more SUPRISED and PLEASED if Karunya wins, because first TIME in my life I will realise that Indian Public, in fact does look at the talent not just likeability factor or X factor.

if everythng is turning out against sandfy wat is karu's fault in all this? if karu gets good comments from judges and sandy doesnt wat is karu's fault in all this? for 2 days karu fans have had enuf,

if u havve had enuf of karu fans saying abt karu then even we have had enuf of ppl pulling karu's name becoz sandy didnt get good comments. how can karu be responsible for this. we karu fans r trying 2 remain calm inspite of all the hate cam[paigns against kar, ppl telling dont vote for karu bcoz the judges criticized sandeep.

the only mistake hes done is he has sang very well, thats wat is hurting every1.

karu is not scared of sandy being a poiwerful contestant (maybe in ur dreams, karu getting scared of sandy, huh) if theres any1 hes scared of its the junta who vote only for ppl fm their region.

I agree to you pragya...and i really have no meaning to offense to anyone...but is it fair that ppl are suing Indian idol's stage to promte one contestent and demoralize other...I dont say its karu's fault....and those will be fool..all I say is that ppl at this level sud be sensible......junta is not fool...
reagrding fear that I saw - well, you also know how huge fan following this guy has and that was my meaning as karu definitely know and he was very nervous at the start of the gala yesterday.....
