Today's episode >>>>>>>>>a filler. The moments that caught my attention>>>>>>>>>
A dull boring episode overall except for the saving grace of Takurain and GD's face off and GD telling Krishna and Prats family tales. The acting by the new Kesar is not convincing and doesn't invoke empathy one used to feel for Kesar. It particularly didn't help on a day when she too moves into Green House to mope around along with the already sad sack Saxsenas. 🤔
Adarsh walks in with an unconscious Kesar in his arms. Don't they have an ambulance service in Allahabad? How does an educated fella like him not know it's unsafe to move an unconscious person without medical help to ensure all is well especially if there was a fall, there could be internal/head injuries. How far were the Saxsena men from the house when they found her? That must have been quite a workout for Adarsh Babu.
Welcome to the world of Saxes as they enter Panic City. Komal rushes to call her bauji to make sure he knows Kesar's whereabouts. She seems rather anxious to get Kesar shunted back to the Niwas in a hurry. Sax ladies were informed that Kesar made the decision to walk out of the Niwas and start her life afresh. Why does Komal does she want Kesar back in that hellhole to rot for the rest of her life? She is not happy she was stopped from calling her father and resolving the situation.
What does Komal know about SS's tactics that has her so revved up? An anxious Komal tries to convince her sasural to check Kesar into a hospital and stay clear of her so they don't face the wrath of SS. Shamu says she is like a daughter and can't be abandoned at a hospital in her condition. What does she know that makes her so jittery about the fallout of Kesar under Shamu's roof? Komal warns him that when things get out of hand later not to count on her for help.
Komal believes Kesar's presence in Green House will bring difficulties to the Sax household. A little information is a dangerous thing. Could it be that Komal doesn't know the full story yet ...., that GD is speaking again, Kesar was poisoned and buried alive outside the Niwas and that she left of her own volition in SS and SDS's presence?
The doctor informs the hovering Sax ladies not to worry, that Kesar has fainted due to low blood pressure (possible during pregnancy) and suggests plenty of rest. Yet another prescription for the Saxes to fill!😕
It's bhajan time at Takur Niwas. Piasiya and Prats join GD, the matriarch of the family as she sings a melodious bhajan in praise of the Goddess. Curious, Takurain wanders down the stairs and parks herself right behind Prats just as she sings "please be rid of the messengers of death". A piece of brilliant directing! LALLANTOP!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Piasiya praises GD's melodious voice. She's figured out which side of bread is buttered these days. Burning in the fire of her own jealousy Takurain rages at Piasiya to zip her lips or she'll torch it. She then takes on her sasuma GD "So much diramaa in your old age. You pray for Kesar's well being, an outsider and forget to pray for one of your own. Why don't you pray that your potha gets out of jail, just so your son's worries are alleviated?" Takurain is truly a twisted woman. While her loyalty to her son and husband is admirable, the fact she doesn't see that her son's actions at the behest of his father were downright evil on any level is alarming. Someone remind her she has a daughter too, what becomes of Komal if she is in "grave" trouble?
GD tells Takurain "your son and my son teamed up and did such a terrible act that whatever punishment they get will never be enough". Gutsy GD calls it like it is. Takurain's reveals her fangs "Now that you have started talking, you'll try to silence me bec' you want to be the mistress of the house." Takurain's paranoia and insecurity easily rivals that of politicians. Kesar had been browbeaten into submission so Prats presented a major threat to SDS in her desperation to hold on to her Takurain's throne. All those name calling she directs at Prats ,,,,.Maidam, Maharani Bictoria, reveal her insecurity.
GD rebukes SDS "had I wanted to be the mistress of this house I would have yanked your tongue out and snipped it off." Ouch! Like mother like son, GD is as blunt as SS, works with SDS for it's the only language she understands. Prats steps in to diffuse the situation and SDS taunts her as she leads GD away before it gets out of hand.
Takurain turns her wrath on Piasiya "what are you doing with them? Go to the kitchen and make karela veggie." Perfect! A saptarishi taron moment.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "You think her singing is sweet, make some sharbet and drink it". 😆 A brilliant performance by Takurain, her intense jealousy and revulsion for Prats and GD comes through. What a nasty piece of work! Takurain can't get by in a day without picking up a fight with someone. She expects her bahus to show her reverence even when she is shooting off her mouth at her own sasuma? At least Prats is formal and respectful in her speech to Takurain. We won't be surprised if SDS and GD get down for a few rounds of wrestling one of these days. After 21 long years not only does GD speak, blunt, with zingers and all but she breaks out into melodious singing as well, a case of feast or famine. How is SS going to tackle being caught between his matari and wife? He seemed a bit torn a couple of days ago when SDS starting bad mouthing GD. This will be a test for the buzurg sher.
Naina is concerned about Takurs reaction were they to find out about Kesar's presence at the Green House so she suggests one of the Sax men stay at home with them. SS agrees to take the day off from the University. Didn't he just say he can't take any time off just a few days ago. Komal returns to pester Kesar again in her mission to get rid of Kesar "don't you have anything else to do besides coming here to mess up my sasural after destroying your sasural? Get out of here before things turn chaotic." Komal needs to watch her tone in how she speaks to people ......she's often rude. She has seen how poorly Kesar has been treated at her maike. Now that she has seen the Saxes put up with her own shenanighans doesn't she have an ounce of compassion or empathy for the plight of her bahujayi? She fails to take the time to find out the whole story and writes off Kesar as a nuisance at her home. At moments like these she proves that's indeed the evil Takurain's daughter. She's lucky she doesn't get tossed out due to her rudeness by the Saxes. Naina makes up for it with some caring and concern to which Kesar responds.
Shamu assures Kesar not to be concerned and to take care of herself. Komal now tries the scare tactic to get her sasural to be rid of Kesar. The way Komal was after Kesar to leave it seems SS is already planning a coup on the Saxes? But there is no indication that SS already knows that Kesar is now with the Saxes. In his attempt to make the Sax sisters pay is SS setting his own damadh up to land in jail? Of course, we can count on Krishna and Prats to come to their rescue. But what if Adarsh is caught with his hand in the cookie jar? Will Prats still wave the wand of justice or will she bail her brother out of the situation and explain it away? Will she finally get a wake up call about her bias in favor of her maike and learn a valuable lesson?
Krishna and Prats sit with GD like little kids asking grandma to tell them some family stories. Haven't we all had those wonderful moments too?😃 A very real and cute moment! Just loved it👏⭐️. Krishna wants to know why GD had taken a vow of silence for 21 years. So did we and we got our answers today. GD shares with Kriya how three generations of Takurs men have lived a life of gundagiri, oppressing their wives by treating them like puppets. She also tells them that SS refused to heed her pleas to educate his children at an early age. Instead he deprived them a childhood they deserved by training them in gundagiri activities. GD gets emotional admitting she finally gave up talking as her pleas were falling on deaf ears. Krishna reflects upon her words and changes the subject. Krishna expressions shows a young man realizing he was shortchanged in his childhood years deprived of a normal life.
GD praises Krishna for being a good husband who loves his wife and a good man unlike his father. That's two days in a row for Baba getting praises. There is no one else left in that household now to praise him. Maybe next will be T/C's turn to shower their praises on him for saving Kesar's life. She tells Krishna "Pratigya made you a human being." Right on cue Takurain wanders on to the hallway of the first floor to eavesdrop on Krishna telling GD "what is wrong with accepting the truth? I have to admit my wife has quite an influence on me." A moment that is sure to play out in a future track. SS is sure to hear this from his tattletale Takurain. SDS seems to be snooping around collecting information to fill SS's ears on his returns home. She has anointed herself the chief detective for RED. There is a restlessness to her that proves she can be very dangerous in the coming months. Watch out the snake is ready to spit fire with quite a few of her plans having gone tel lene recently. At such times her worst side rears it's ugly head.
Saxes are at the dining table at lunchtime. Komal goes for another attempt at scare tactics "you (Kesar) have to get well soon or my sasural can't escape the clutches of bauji." She is like a dog after a bone. Not an ounce of empathy in her. Kesar attempts to eat but bolts from the table to hurl. Was it due to having a bun in the oven or bec' Komal's threats were unnerving her. After all she is new to making decisions and has just taken her baby steps. Komal must have seen too many film vilms. She thinks out loud wondering "could Kesar be pregnant?"and enacts a scene like the movies ''.when a woman hurls and the doctor declares "You are going to be a mother". A comedy circus moment!PREVIEW: Adarsh is thrilled to receive his promotion letter. He profusely thanks the stranger who directs his gratitude towards the figure sitting a few feet away. Adarsh turns around and sees Takur Sajjan Singh striking a royal pose seated in the dark RED sofa with a suspicious smile hovering on his lips and his eyes focused on his prey, his own damadh. Are we about to see a corrupt bank employee Adarsh falling into SS's hands like a ladoo that gives the buzurg sher a chance to even the score in the coming months with the Saxes'..particularly the Sax sisters for causing havoc in his plans for a potha, with Adarsh being the fall guy. How will Komal handle this situation?
Any comments?😃
P.S: Except for GD telling family tales and Takurain's tirades this episode was flat. I snoozed after watching Saxes today. 😲 Too much time at sleepy Saxes with a depressed Kesar, way too much to deal with. Can't one person be cheerful in that house? 🤔😲
