NT told a censored version to Dev that how Geet helped Maan. Dev was impressed by that sweet shy girl. NT asked Dev's permission for what she planned, he readily agreed.
Next day Breakfast
Geet and Rajji were helping NT lay the table, slowly one by one all the Khurana and Handa came by to get seated,
as Maan entered Geet unknowingly looked in his direction and smiled seeing him wearing his new specs,
NT and Dadi followed her gaze and where NT just smiled Dadi was surprised to see Maan
at the same time Rajji yelled hey you look cool on those specs, everyone looked at him on hearing the comment,
Dev and Vikrant went forward and hugged him, Dev then looked at Geet and nodded in approval looking at NT who smiled further.
As the breakfast proceeded, NT started telling Dadi that how overworked she feels with this pregnancy and house work and above all office work, the drawings and all make her tired.
Dev also sounded worried and said he would definitely look for some one who can help her out at home as well as office
NT said she did not need someone permanent just a help for 6-7 months or say a year will do.
Dadi understood what she was up to
DM; BTW Ranveer what will Geet be doing, some job or something now her college is over, or does she plan a PG course
Ran: aunty I don't know what she wants? she definitely will not go to some unknown place to work. But I very much want her to get hold of some job just to boost her confidence.
DM: oh, Geet what are you planning
Rajji: she plans nothing, way too scared to face situations
Dev: uncle if you don't mind can she help NT until we find someone
Mohinder: definitely it's a good opportunity
Brij: yes I too have same thoughts
Ran; then its ok with me
No one noticed that Geet slipped from there
Maan saw her climbing the stairs and followed;
NT looked satisfied on seeing this and indicated thumbs up to Dadi
On the terrace
Geet was standing there lost, she was trembling.
Maan saw her shivering like a dry leaf; he went forward and held her hand which was resting on the railing,
she looked at him, she was almost in tears.
M: hey, you seem very nervous.
G: just nodded words choked in her throat
M: want to cry
G: nodded yes
He held her by her shoulders and side hugged her, she broke down crying
When she had cried her heart out, she looked at him
G: you let me cry out, thank you, every body else just asks me not to cry
M: you know tears make your fears disappear
G; really
M: yes I tried out last night, they really dissolved my many fears, now its your turn
G: will I be able to help NT in her works
M: of course, you are hard working as Rajji always says 'Geet can make mountains move but she can't make a small verbal conversation with strangers', and here no one is a stranger, I am your friend, you seem to like NT, Dadi is also not a devil, my bro's are amazing and then there is always chatter box Rajji your stupid cousin
G; may be you are right, I should give it a try
M: that's like my friend Geet, don't worry every thing will be alright, let's go all might be searching for you
G: you leave I will come after washing my face
M: ok
G: Maan, you look nice in those specs
M: thanks Geet its all your effort and now I want you to try
He left and she went to washroom to washer face
NT and Dadi happily witnessed their departure
