Part 18

Maan was happy

he pursued Sameera to prepare a presentation of their various works in KC.

They were given time to give a 20 min presentation at NASA.

He was happy as this will help him gain new ventures in Mumbai, Geet was his lady luck, his meeting with her was bringing business also, he already signed a contract with a builder at Mumbai who were doing some housing project for the economically weaker classes,

he was way too happy, as soon as Vicky is back he will open a KC branch at Mumbai also.

Geet was way too tired when she boarded the train with other students,

the 15 of them were more exhausted then others, theirs was the only group who had to make all the drawings manually,

rest of the groups were allowed to use computers, all of them just put their boxes on the top berth and cuddled to sleep,

they slept non stop and woke up when disturbed by the college crowd boarding at Nagpur.

They got up and freshened and had their food, then again went to sleep BTW they had not been sleeping properly since last 7-8 days.

Mumbai

Welcome to the commercial capital of India,

a city where dreams come true,

a city which was formed on the islands that the Portuguese princess brought in her dowry when she married a British Prince, the land initially of 7 islands,

a city known for its charm and glamour,

a city where thing happen,

a city moving on the tracks of local trains,

a city where you find poor and the poorest plus the rich and the richest.

{hey sorry for interfering but I just found that the NASA 2007 was held in Bhopal, it was the Golden Jubilee celebration, remember Geet's college in 'fate has it all set', but what to do now I am struck with Mumbai where the event was held in 1997, so if anyone noticed which I am sure no one did, I am sorry}

They all headed to the venue {imagine any} Mumbai being a big city the students were to stay in some hostel from where they would be taken in buses to the venue.

The students freshened up and were called for breakfast, where they were given participant batches and food coupons, plus the NASA kit.

After breakfast they all took their boxes which had their various works they have to display and they all boarded the buses,

their was a good amount of tussling between various colleges, all were poking their noses in others works while trying to hide their own,

each college had a detective student who was to go to various groups to find if their works were better then theirs or vice a versa. It was a lot of fun

{I can't write how much fun it is, when you participate in such an event where 3,800 delegates participate for colleges all around the country. All that leg pulling, the feeling of achieving success, the competitive aura is round the venue, the feelings are euphoric}

Until the sheets were finally displayed Geet had no where in her mind going to search for Maan,

she was way to busy to have such thoughts,

on the other hand Maan acknowledged her euphoric mood and decided to postpone the search till she is finished with her work, it was way to easy for him to go to the display area and find her,

but he did not how ever he was many times on his way to the exhibition hall, but checked himself as this would be cheating.

Geet smiled in between as she could sense his desire and how he stopped himself from coming to her, Pinky found her smiling

P: what happened Geet?

G: no response

P: Geet, Geet where are you? (shakes her)

G: what is this Pinky?

P: this is what I am asking? What is this? You smiling at nothing,

every thing all right

G: yes, come stick these sheets,

P: whatever?

Geet just shrugged herself and engrossed in her work.
