OK this this really scared the beep outta me!! I was underestimating it.. and trying to watch it lightly.. but OH my the blue eyes.. and them turning in weird angles.. was just horrific...they made the bolly version much less scarier.. they have used special effects in this one.. its damn scarry... they didn't use special effects in the bolly version.. vidya did the expression on her own..

yeh the original malyalam version had no special effects either...shobhana chandrakumar was just pure dancing...the thing is...the BB was a remake of the malyalam version which was more of a pshycological thriller...rather than a horror movie....but the tamil version chandramukhi was made as a horror film....the malyalam version was tweaked a lot when making the tamil remake, to give more importance to rajnikanth's character...and to make the film more OTT.....hence the special effects....and anything which rajnikanth had to combat HAD to be horrific...if not it will dilute his heroism...😆...

shobhana was more subtle and arugably the best of all the actors who played the character...the muvie won her a national award..deservedly..

haha...shobahana was amazing...she got the dancing spot on...and the expressions aswell...vidya in BB was imitating her...if u notice...the dance steps...expressions et all...but shobhana was a total pro...

lol...btw...RARA means "come to me!"....tht makes it even scarier!!!! 😉i was haunted by tht song for few months...all i kept hearing at nights was anklets tinkling and RARA....
