Nice one everyone...loved all your inputs. They all make sense.

But yea, I do agree that Disney has completely lost its charm since Walt Disney's days. Completely. Yep, the show's are funny and cute, but they don't seem magical like they used to =(

I second that, Chhilt and Aish! Disney sure isn't magicalany more! The concept, plot and the character's difficulties/happiness felt so much more real back then...

However, if we look back to the movies too, the leading ladies were all fit and beautiful! I guess, that's one thing Disney doesn't want to compromise on... ever! lol

And Chhilt, you got me there! As soon as I tjought of writing that down, needless to say I too was reminded of the same... Haha. So it really is true... great minds think alike... come to think of it, fools do too :S Haha!

First of all, great topic, Aish! It's always interesting having these sort of discussions, especially on forums.

Ok, yes. I definitely have to agree with you on this one. Disney tends to show the good side or rather the look on the bright side stuff. But if they start showing typical teenager problems based series, wouldn't their shows resemble to..eh, The Secret Life per example? And how old are the kids who watch Disney Channel? 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14? Probably that's why Disney decides to show the more artificial girls - or should I say 'good' girls. - I think I'm going off topic so I shall stop right here..for now!

@Nidheya: Same thing in my school as well. But girls who dress nicely aren't called too girly. Lol. Even I dress nicely (i think?ha) and I'm so not girly.

^ Thanks Marium :)
Yea, I can see what you're saying. I guessther real typical teenage problems would be innappropriate for kids. Sometimes though, Disney now seems really fake. 😆
