Suraj is Vedika's first love. she loved him and was about to get married to him, but he got in an accident. Vedika though he died and she went mental.

Now, she saw his pic in the newspaper and found out he's alive. Dhurv is helping Vedika find Suraj. I'm not sure if he's asking Vedika to give the manglustrue to Arti or to him.

But I guess the reason he's asking for it is because Vedika found Suraj and would want to be with him.
