Today's episode was so, so, so good….OMG, the scene that Jai and Bani have in their Bedroom…Yes, they now share the same bedroom, although they sleep separately ofcourse! Poor Bani on the Floor and poor Mr. Walia on his Armchair. Then what the hell is the Bed doing???😕 But, Gosh, their chemistry…..and kudos to the Creative Director for coming up with the most romantic and most incredible scene from the Balaji Stables. Atleast I found it awesome….😳
The episode begins with Jai leaving Ranveer's Office and the background track begins, "Ab toh aadat si hai mujhe aise jeene mein" from the movie Kalyug. They show Jai walking out of his Office completely lost to the World and to himself, thinking about Pia. All the past events come flashing across his eyes one by one, the Driver opens the door for Jai to get in, but Jai walks past his Car and is shown walking across the road and some garden and then finally settles down near the Beach, all alone! His eyes are completely without any emotion, he looks like a dead man. Jai keeps staring at the Ocean, with the background music playing. Jai is then shown going to the Bar, where for the first time according to me, he drinks like there is no tomorrow. His eyes are completely blank except for the stark pain which shows in them. Jai keeps drinking like anything.😭
Best Scene till date of Kasamh Se:😃
Jai is shown stumbling back to his house and then is shown entering his room. Bani is standing their, dressed in a very covered up night dress (Lolz…such a prude, how will she ever seduce Jai then!) Jai comes and stares at Bani and she looks back at him with confusion and a bit of fear in her eyes. Jai then gives a really scary kind of stare to Bani (I assumed that our worst fear is going to come true!) and then stumbles back to the door and closes it shut. Bani for a moment holds back her breath in fear and keeps looking at Jai with trepidation and anxiety, but also a lot of concern on her face. Jai keeps staring at Bani for some time and then suddenly plunks down on a chair with the TV remote in his hand. Then in the cutest way ever he takes the remote and tries to put on the TV, but he is so sloshed, that his fingers falter and he is not able to switch on the Television. Jai throws the remote away and looks very lost....kind of defeated and forelone...poor baby😭
Bani look's at him and her expression changes from one of confusion to one of concern and sympathy. Jai throws the remote from his hand and looks very lost. Bani keeps looking at Jai without taking her eyes from his face and picks up the remote and switches on the Television. Jai suddenly gets startled and looks at the Television and then turns and looks at Bani and both of them have this awesome scene. It was a look of awkwardness, of some unstated understanding and of knowing one another's hurt and position!!! Jai is very embarrassed and avoids looking at Bani and tries to pretend as if he is watching the Television, then suddenly after watching it for 2 minutes, he takes the remote and switches off the TV. Bani keeps looking at him, very confused on what he is upto!
Jai gets up and is completely wobbly and is not even able to walk straight (Awww, my teddy bear!) He gives one sidey look at Bani, trying to avoid her (she keeps looking at him constantly) and manages to walk to his Wadrobe. He opens it and starts looking for his nightgown. He kind of rummages through the Almirah but is not able to find what he is looking for (The poor thing has just one set of night dress?) And then as he turns, he looks at his Night-dress lying on his Bed, all pressed and kept ready. Awww, it was just the cutest thing I ever saw. Jai immediately looks at Bani, who looks pretty awkward now and finally looks somewhere else. Jai keeps looking at her and then with great effort picks up his night gown and walks towards the Washroom.
Bani is standing near the window staring outside, when Jai walks out of the Washroom and Bani turns around to look at him. Both of them have this lingering eye contact which doesn't really express anything, but suddenly says everything. Bani is then shown putting her bed on the floor (Such an Aadarsh Bharatiya Naari!) and Jai looks at her for some time as she goes off to sleep. But Bani just pretends to sleep, her eyes are open (How can she sleep with Hottie in the same room!)😉 Jai goes to a corner of the room and sits on his chair with a file in his hand…..Both of them have moist eyes.....😭
The next morning, Jai is shown to be in his senses and is shown coming out of the Washroom and he seems to look for his Towel and notices that a fresh towel has been kept for him on the Bed! Jai looks up and sees Bani, looking so pretty in a bright blue and orange salwar kameez! Jai and Bani exchange some kind of an awkward look and then Jai goes off from the room. Later he has freshened up and dressed for Office. Jai is shown in front of the mirror, he has no expression on his face, his face is completely immobile. Just then Bani comes from behind and both of them look at one another, Jai looks at the mirror in which he see's Bani's reflection and she looks back at him.😳
Jai then shrugs his head and abruptly walks out of the room, while Bani keeps standing there! She then realizes that Jai has forgotten his file in the room (Or should I say their room) itself and she thinks to herself that she has to give it to him. She decides to go to Jai's Office to give the file to him!😃
The best part about the whole sequence, right from Jai coming to their bedroom to his leaving for Office the next day, is that not a single sentence or a word is uttered between Jai and Bani. Not a single word. The entire sequence was done in complete silence, with not even a background tune…..it was chilling….I thought it was one of the most romantic and emotional scenes ever on the small screen. The entire scene was lifted by the expressions and actions of Jai and Bani…..and they portrayed an entire gamut of emotions, ranging from deep hurt, to lingering pain, to betrayal, to sympathy, to fear, to hopelessness, to affection and most important to a deep, deep understanding. The viewers got to know today, that whatever happens between Jai and Bani, one thing they already share in common and that is a deep and complete understanding of one another. I loved the way Jai's expression changes from one of disinterest to one of complete surprise when Bani puts on the TV for him and then the same surprise when he see's Bani has laid out his night gown and then the look of awkwardness as they meet each other the next morning…..Oh God, it was just beautifully done! Kudos to the actors, to the creative director and to the person who wrote the scene! It was simply marvelous!😳😃
In the prison, Pushkar's family is shown coming to meet him where Pushkar's brother tells him that he will speak to Jai personally and ask his help. Pushkar tenses up and tells him that there is no need to ask help from someone who has hurt and insulted his family. Bhabhi looks furious and tells him then keep rotting in jail. Pushkar looks hurt as his Mother cries in typical filmy maa style and Bhaiya and Bhabhi walk off in huff. Look at the cheek of the guy, he back stabs Jai and then makes such a comment on him. Hmph, serves him right, let him rot in jail!🤢
Bani is shown going towards Jai's Office and as she is about to enter, she is stunned to see Sheetal Sen entering Jai's Office and then Bani stands outside Jai's Office as she hears and see's in disbelief that Jai is handing out some money to Sheetal and thanking her very courtesously and telling her that he expects her to handle the job well. Sheetal very respectfully takes leave of Jai, and suddenly his mobile phone rings, Jai excuses himself and leaves the Office, while Bani hides. Bani is stunned and thinks to herself that she cannot believe that Jai could ever do any such thing and whether what she is seeing is true. Just then Sheetal comes out of the room and bumps into Bani, who tells her very tersely that Sheetal has indeed proven herself to be a true seller of body and of her soul. As Sheetal listens to her in completel silence, Bani accuses Sheetal of selling her soul for some money to Jai Walia and of destroying a young boy's life, who was about to begin a new life.
Sheetal stops Bani and tells her that she doesn't have to give any explanations to Bani, but she wants to clear one thing to her. As Bani listens with astonishment, Sheetal tells her that Jai had indeed given her money, but not for implicating Pushkar but rather for taking her statement back and releasing Pushkar. Bani is reactionless and then her eyes fill with tears as she apologizes to Sheetal, who tells her that Jai is a remarkable man!
Bani looks overjoyed and thinks to herself that she knew her trust and faith in Jai could never be wrong and that she was sure that it would be none other than Jai who would help out Pushkar. Bani immediately calls up Pia and tells her that Jai has got Pushkar bailed out. Pia is thrilled and says that she cannot believe that Jai did this! Bani tells her that I had always known that Jai is a very good man and that however angry he might be, he will never let of anyone's trust in him.
Summary and Comments:
Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho….Wow. Wow. Wow…Jai and Bani share the same room! Yeh kab hua! Didn't Jai literally shove and push out Bani of his room on his Suhag Raat???? When did they start co-habiting????? I am really curious to know! But whatever, I think it's a great thing….if they are in the same room, they can't really keep avoiding each other…however doddily dressed Bani might be or however drunk Jai might get!😆
A new wadrobe required for Mrs. Walia : Why can't Bani wear a sexier night dress? I mean she was dressed like a nun, in some 1960's Ka nightgown😆 Lolz...how will Jai ever give her a second glance then! But she looked very radiant in the electric blue and bright orange Salwar kameerz she wears the next morning....Jai does keep looking at her for some time through the mirror...hamara hero line par aa raha hai!😳😆
Aankhon hi Aankhon mein Ishaara Ho Gaya... : The entire Jai – Bani bedroom sequence was done with such taste and class, that I was left stunned by the end of it! Monix, we are desperately waiting for you to upload the Vidoe so that we can see it again and again! The whole sequence stood apart primarily because it didn't have a single word in it….the entire sequence had only the sound of air, swishing by, and Jai and Bani just kept looking at one another or avoiding one another's glances! Just incredible, simply superb!
Jai is a Gem and Pia is a Fool and Bani is Lucky : Pia should be crowned, "Ms. Dumbo the Dumbest" for dumping a man like Jai! I mean, look at the guy, Pia walked all over his heart and his feelings and crushed him to nothingness, but he still goes out of his way to help Pushkar!!! And Bani gets to know of it….hey, my informer was correct! She said that it would be Bani who will fall in love with Jai first and not the other way round. See, its already happening!!!
Ab toh aadat si hai mujhko aise jeene mein : The entire scene where Jai remembers Pia and her betrayal was done with superb perfection. My heart totally went out to Jai, as the pain and hurt lingers in his eyes…..his eyes are totally dry, but you can immediately sense what he has lost in them! Awww, don't bother too much Jai, you have a lovely, loving wife waiting for you at home to cosole you!
Mera Pati sirf Mera Hai : Hey, what's with Bani being the perfect Indian wife. She not only keeps Jai's night-gown ready for him to change into, she puts on TV for him, and then she gets him a towel in the morning and then rushes behind him to give him his file. Jai, wake up and smell the roses…..forget Pia, Please!!!😡
I am feeling really sleepy today, too much of excitement after watching the serial….will add some more comments tomorrow!
