Ooooh, the Wedding season is on and the countdown to DK's Wedding has begin. Next week will see a lot of fireworks and Jury Members, please beware, do not open any unmarked Mithai Ka Dabaa's, you never know of one of the participants might be trying to bribe you in some way! Girls these days, I tell you!
Lol….jokes apart, I have to thank all of you for such an enthusiastic participation and response to the Wedding Celebrations. You guys are just too good for words!
I am putting across a Wedding Itinerary for next week, whereby the functions will roll one by one!
FUNCTION NO. 1
Function – Sagan / Engagement
Date – 31st May, 2005
Day – Tuesday
Time – 7:00 Pm (IST) onwards
Invitees – The Honorable Jury Members, The Respected Coordinating Committee and the Participants of the Swayamvar. Plus all the Cast and Crew of Tumhari Disha except the Guhas, whom we all HATE!😡
Special Performance – Pori and Gargi's jig on ''Piya Piya Oh Piya Piya'' 😆
Clown act by Inder (for all the kids present)🤢 I know the kids will be bored, but this is all we could have as a last minute replacement for the Original Clown from Apollo Circus!
Function Coordinator – Samy puttar, you will have to see to it that DK is dressed in some nice Indian Attire and his facial ect. is done on time. Surely, we wouldn't want the bride to catch DK in his Mickey Mouse Pyjamas with the gooey stuff splashed on his face! So, its your responsibility to land up at the Kanaka House and make sure DK is ready on time. (And don't try to elope with him, Jingle has doubled the security at the gate and also Inder would be place on a Tree Top with specific instructions to jump on DK's head if he is spotted anywhere near the main entrance.
Dress Code – Indian formal, the more gaudily dressed the merrier. Make sure that all of you give a good competition to Suki Kaki, the thief who has stolen the Wedding Canopy to make a dress out of it!🤔
Menu – Aloo Parantha's, Aloo Ka Raita, Aloo Ka Salad and Aloo ki Subzi. What else did you expect, the Kanaka House Kitchen was overflowing with Potatoes all over after the Competition was over! Couldn't waste it, could we?😳
FUNCTION NO. 2
Function – Bachelor's Party
Date – 01st June, 2005
Day – Wednesday
Time – Midnight onwards
Invitees – All the people who are completely bindaas and can be ready for some Cultural Shock! Better keep Sum Maa away from this place, will get another of her fits if she witness this one!
Special Performance – Sanya's solo act on ''Husn ke laakhon rang'' along with Gautam on the Drums!
Suki Kaki's solo act on ''Sharara Sharara'' along with Anil on the Bass Guitar!😉
Special Treat by Gargi – The Stripper Act. This is not in the Official Programme list, but you can never tell with Chotti Maa, when she gets high and just starts on her act! Make sure, all the kids and prudes have their eyes tightly shut! And yeah, DK too!😳
Function Coordinator – Who else but Mink! Mon Cher, you will have to see to it that DK doesn't get mobbed by the girls there, who will be a little ditzy after their drinking spree and might get a little, er, physical with our dude. So do protect the baby and make sure he doesn't end up getting too cozy with any of the girls around, don't want the would-be-bride walking out on him on the D-Day! (ps: Minku, keep a hold and don't drown all the Tequila's by urself😉 Else, you will be snoring through out the Wedding)
Dress Code – The less the better! No more explanations required!
Menu – Tequila and Tortila Chips! Our budget is very limited, hence the miserliness in the Menu! Anyway, you guys will be too sloshed to remember eating anything! 😕
Function No. 3
Function – Haldi Ki Rasam
Date – 02nd June, 2005
Day – Thursday
Time – 10.00 Am (IST) onwards
Invitees – Only Ladies allowed. Yeah, Inder is in!
Special Performance – Sum Maa and Chotti Maa on ''Raja ki aayegi baraat, rangili hogi raat, magan mein nachoongi''
Ranu performing on ''Didi tera devar diwaana, hay raam kudiyon ko dale daana'' with Vedant!
Function Coordinator – Aaliyah! Aali will see to it that all the guests adhere to the Dress code of wearing only yellow and eat so many Mangoes, that either by the Wedding day, they should be upto their throats in Mangoes (that way we will save on the cost of the Wedding feast) or should have such terrible loosies, that they don't venture out of the Bathrooms! Also, Aali dearest, make sure that and Pori are dressed in huge Cardboard Cutout of Mango and will be welcoming the guests! (Anupam Uncle has promised a further discount on the Mangoes if his Mango Tree Farm is advertised by us!)
Dress Code – Only Yellow! Right from the Inner wear to Make-up, everything should be the shade of Yellow! Oops, I hope Sum Maa is not allergic to this color also, else we will have some time controlling the lady! The guest wearing the most hideous and atrocious shade of yellow will get the Cardboard Cut out of the Mango free…..along with either Sanya or Pori, as per you wishes!
Menu – Mangoes! They are yellow in color which goes with the Haldi Function theme, they are in season, they are available in plenty and they are the only fruits our bankrupt DK can afford at the moment. Inder was given the charge of plucking them from the trees in Khosla Farms (Anupam Uncle is supplying them to DK at a nominal charge) a month before, the idiot should have hopefully collected a dozen atleast, if he wasn't fooling around with the Monkey's on the trees!
Now the Jhoota Chupai and the Main Wedding is left to be organized! Girls, get your dancing shoes on and be ready to ROCK THE PARTY!👍🏼Looking forward to an enthusiastic participation from all you guys! See you then!😛
