I remember that scene too but I am not surprised with Vinod, it is not the first time he has forgiven Manju and I am sure it won't be the last. What really surprises me is him agreeing to her latest demand, he is so upset with Archana and Manav for what they've done to his Sulochana and Manohar but he doesn't realize that what he did hurts far worse than Manav and Archana's impulsive decision to elope. Vinod and his sisters should be ashamed of themselves for how they are treating their parents, Archana and Manav.
And the worst part is when they've realized their error in trying to have their parents choose between their children, they'll just say a quick sorry and then all will be forgiven. Just like how Varsha was forgiven for her abortion and now instead of being grateful to be back with her sasural, she's getting her own flat (after she had convinced her in-laws to come home and live together again)😕
