A verrrryyyyy brief update.
Muthu engal sOthu is told that he can not be a normal hubby - bed room is no no.
He cries, laments...blah blah...has visions of his happy moments with Kavi...and
requests the doctor " keep it under wraps, will ya??" Doctor agrees - he goes to
his room and cries some more.
Tamizh comes to the shop with money drawn for the salary. Is told that Priya is
on leave. Priya's mom calls Tamizh, cries.....muted dialogues.(nalla kaalam )....
apram "pls come home soon" Tamizh rushes to Priya's house. Priya's mom and
two more ladies surround the "saved at the last minute " Priya and ask for the
reason....Tamizh comes.....Jothi le kalanthudaraanga ..Interrogation group jothi le...

Update for Tues, Dec 14, 2010:
Priya's mother is doing a wailing job - why did you do this, unakku enna aachu, and so on. Tamil comes in, gets updated by her, she hugs Priya and asks her why she did it, and mom promptly asks Priya to answer at least now, and then she starts hitting her. Tamil stops her from doing that, and she justifies herself by saying that all these years, she has never even raised her hand and Priya hasn't even seen her getting angry (so now it is okay if you hit your daughter? Idhu enna logic?) Anyway, Tamil gets her out of the room and Priya spills the truth about Ashok refusing to marry her and being willing to keep her as a mistress. Tamil swears that she will get Priya married to Ashok, that is her mission in life.
Kavitha is praying at the temple, with a lamp in her hand. She puts the lamp down, then goes around the temple where a kiLi josiyar is sitting and making predictions for some women. One of the women gets angry with him, saying that last time he got a lizard card, and this time he got something else, neeyum un josiyamum, and the others join in, calling him a cheat, and leave. Kavitha comes there, asks what happened, he tells her, she asks him to predict for her husband. He asks for the name, she doesn't want to say it, so she gives him clues - what is in the sea? and he says Meen (so would I) and what is the opposite of kezhavan. Anyway, she manages to point him in the right direction, and he tells the bird to pick a card. The bird picks one of Mary with the baby Jesus, so he says there will be a baby. She asks him to pick again, this time the bird picks one of Krishna and Balaram, so he says there will be twins within the year. She is happy, pays him and leaves after feeding the bird some grains.
MK is sitting on his bed, Kavitha comes and gives him the prasadam. He doesn't talk so she asks him what happened, and then she tells him about the josiyar and his josiyam, while he is looking at her with all this sogam in his eyes.

Update for Wed, Dec 15, 2010:
Kavitha is talking about how she saw the baby Jesus, then she asked the josiyar to take another card and this time it was baby Krishna, and now the josiyar has said she will have twins, so it is going to be a boy and a girl. MK doesn't say a word through all this, finally she asks him if he is okay with having the babies by the end of the year, and he says Okay. He asks for something to eat, and she goes to get it.
Tamil is thinking, and mom comes there. She advises Tamil to be careful and suggests that she talk to AM and get some elders to mediate, but Tamil, being Tamil, is not about to listen and says she will handle it herself, no need to involve others.
Ashok's house - his mom is talking to a couple, who have come with a marriage proposal for Ashok. She says that last month someone came like this only, they offered Rs. 5 crores as dowry, 500 pavun gold (enna. vessels ellam gold vesselsaa?), a house on ECR Road, and a farmhouse somewhere else, but he didn't like the girl. He says he likes this girl, the girl's brother and he were classmates in college, and they talk about old times. The girl's parents suggest exchanging thattus, so Ashok's mother goes and gets the tambulam thattu.
Tamil and Priya come to Ashok's house and just as they near the front door, which of course is open as always (!), they hear the girl's father saying that this confirms the engagement for Ashok and his daughter. Then the girl's family leave and Ashok and his buddy come out first, Ashok sees Priya and Tamil and introduces them to his BIL to be as the "staffs" from his kadai! He tells them to wait inside for him.
When Ashok comes back, Tamil asks him what he plans to do now that Priya is carrying his baby? His mother comes in, overhears, asks him what the matter is, he doesn't say anything, Tamil explains, and she gives her son a stinging slap! Then she scolds him for having a relationship with a person who stretches her hand to them (kai neeti sambalam vanginavaL) and gets paid, and compares their status, and tells him that she doesn't care how he does it, but to get rid of the problem before the wedding. Tamil tries to plead with her, and she dismisses Tamil the same way and goes inside.

Kavitha continues with her lecture citing MK's magnanimity in accepting her even after the kidnapping episode there by proving love prevails over every thing . Further adds , just as a mother carries her baby in the womb, wife carries her husband in her heart & physical deformity will not & should not hinder such true love.MK says – oorukku upadesam is easy but when calamity strikes in personal life, if I am afflicted with physical deficiency, the bitter experience may not let you speak like this . Kavi sings...Thangathile oru kurai irundhalum tharathinil kauraivadhundo , ungal angathile oru kurai irundhalum en anbu kuraivadhillai. Kavitha assures nothing of that sort will ever happen -16m petru peru vaazhvu vaazhap porom –nothing but death can ever part us. Muthu's turn to become emotional & cry. KS house , night time. Houseleyum sincere a duty paarkarar engineer Sir- sitting before the computer & thatting the keys. Vasanthi enters , tries to attract the attention of the busy man , kolusu satham ,vaLayal satham ,serumal satham , Hmmm sevidan kaadhil oodhina sangu ,Sara still thatting the keyboard. Vasanthi now straight confrontation- am relegated to second wife's position , unable to deal with my sakkalathi though she is at stone throw distance. Startled saravanan looks at her bewildered . Vasanthi points the computer & calls it as buffalo sakkaLathi. Relieved Saravanan laughs & decides to share some happy moments with her. Loosu Vasanthi wants to know what is he reminded of when he sees her.Sara's expression changes , looks at her ,flashbacks of Shylaja's disgusting talks , kathi kabada ratham ethuvum illama camera neatly does the plastic surgery , shyless & Vasanthi's face alternates , this torture is repeated thrice. Right time for shyless madam to call Sara ,sings " ennai vittu oodi poga mudiyuma " , exasperated Sara chides her sadistic behaviour. Shyless brushes it off , says she called to give him a good night kiss , shamelessly asks him to reciprocate thru Vasanthi. Seeing his expression Vasanthi rightly guesses the caller was kutty pisasu. Sara admits that KP's torture is unbearable , whenever I see you I get reminded of KP. Now the school final gives a suggestion to the engineer ...whenever you are reminded of KP think of me, you will forget KP's face.
