I think you have some responsibility towards the viewers who watch the serials that you have been involved in making. TD is one of these and I noticed that you have an executive producer representing you. What exactly does this person do ??? I would have expected them to put some sort of brake on the totally unrealistic scenarios that have so far been aired.
The viewers can deal with all the twists and turns the makers create but you do need to take into account the real world as well and some of these twists are downright insulting to our intelligence. You cannot just ignore the law, medical and ethical issues.
Just as an example of the ridiculous situations seen in TD –
How many females do you know who are arranging second marriages without divorcing the first husband ?
Sumitra is shown to be functioning perfectly but anytime she doesn't like what DK is saying, she suddenly feels faint !! And how many more medical conditions are you going to give her ?
And the use you make of kasams is down right disgusting – everytime the writer runs out of a good line to re-direct the story out comes a kasam.
Relationships have no meaning – Inder/Rano/baby, Bhabi/Devar
A strong character has gone to waste once he falls in love – to the viewer this is saying that never fall in love as it will be extremely bad for you!
TD started as a good concept and did get good ratings but now it is just becoming another mediocre serial pointlessly dragging it's feet.
If you look at the topics on this forum you will realise that most people are treating TD as a joke now as it is just not delivering what they expect.
