I don't understand your question. Why can't they have a surname Singh. Whats wrong with this surname?

i think they maybe hindu punjabi. so maybe dat's why. i fink anyway.

You don't have to be a punjabi to a have the last name "Singh" It is a common surname for Indians, especially for the royal/princely castes, like the thakurs. Even the Nepalese use the last name "Singh".

Dear ,.Hindu families also use surname 'singh'......Rajputs use surname 'Singh'....

My last name Singh and i am Hindu..

Singh can either be Punjabi, Rajput or Bihari..

If you are a Singh you are of Thakur Kshatriya Blood..which is a Rajput clan..
