How well do i know Ishaan?

Well not very well it turns out! It's been a strange week. Things were normal until dadaji disappeared. The family, particularly dadima and I were very worked up. We began searching for him and because of the tension nobody went to work. Dadima was crying, but I was furious with Ishaan's attitude.

He was cribbing about having to miss work. How insensitive can he be? Doesn't he care for his grandparents? I was about to give him a piece of my mind, when Dadaji walked in with Sonali. My target of anger then changed to Sonali. Doesn't she have any responsibility to inform anyone that she's taking him out? She could have at least told Dadima or Badi Maa. However, everyone was happy to see him safe and sound and life resumes its normal routine, but not for long.

The family decided to play a game, where we had to find out how well we know our partners. During the game, I found out all about Elesh and Inder Bhaiya's college secrets. When it came Ishaan and me, Ishaan answered all his questions correctly, but when my turn came, I couldn't answer anything about Ishaan. I felt awful because being his wife, I should know at least something about him. Sonali, however, began answering the questions concerning his likes and dislikes and made it seem like she knew Ishaan much better than me. I spoke to Badi Maa about it and she comforted me and said that I should get to know him better by spending time with him and talking to him about his likes and dislikes.

Badi Maa has also been extremely helpful. She's taught me the importance of marriage and how to respect your partner. Learning from Badi Maa has been a blessing in disguise. I've taken Ishaan for granted in this marriage, but he hasn't done that with me. He has been perfectly loving and supportive. I need to now pick up the pieces and be a better wife. It'll also make me a better person and with such great support and help from my loving family I am confident of doing my best.
