She may be pretty but screen presence

I was reading a lot of bashing regarding Avantika Hundal about how she is ugly? and how she is not well-suited for Arhaan?

Well, according to me Avantika is a pretty girl, but she has absolutely no screen presence and trust me pretty girls like that has no future in entertainment business whatsoever.

Few examples of beautiful girls but bleak acting:-

1) Sonali Bendre

2) Celina Jaitley

3) Sonal Chauhan(Jannat Girl)

and so many models........

We should not forget that Pooja Gor started as a second lead in Kitani Mohabbat Hai.. and I remember watching her and thinking wow this girl could come as a lead. And, also a lot of actors coming as second leads such as Govinda, Salman, Rani all came as second but are now successful because of thier screen presence..

agree....evn i was shocked wen PG was approached for a main lead...but i lubd her in KMH...she is just opposite to pratigya character in KMH...purvi was a very sweet n innocent gal.....but i luv her more as Pratigya...

an abt AH..agree wid u..i dnt like her at all...she is nt gud at acting!!!

I really liked her as purvi but i always wished they showed more of her in the show. But I am glas she came back with a bang as Pratigya.

And as far as AH is concerned this will be her last show!

I totally respect the above person's POV's. Many years ago I was a trained bridal beautician, I did it out of hobby and my passion for make-up. I have come accross many faces and I can tell which faces are naturally pretty, look good with makeup and who will never look the part.

In my professional, harsh but true opinion i'll give you the facts. I am not jelous of Avantika - as I am not in love with Arhaan (I'm older than him).

I am giving a professional opinion only.

Pooja - is not pretty, features are not pretty. kesar's and Komal's features are pretty. Kesar is an English man's delight, for her features and her complexion. White men European, American etc would love a girl like Kesar.

Young asian men would love a girl like Komal, Fair and pretty, they are not fussed about height so much. Parvati, is a girl that Guys would like.

Pooja is the kind of girl A lot of indian mummies look for as a bahu. Long, black hair, lovely complexion- carries of any coolur, nice hand and nails, slim tall slendar. Sonali bendre type of girl. Pooja hasn't got a pretty face but she has a beauty and cuteness about her. With right makeup she is a cameraman's delight. Asian guys would like her - so will some white men.

Arushi - She has lovely eyes - and yes if she was modelling....just the eyes part she would do well. Her nose is too long, and uff that mouth is a disaster, it has no shape and she is rather goofy. She is not the kind of girl that mummies will choose for their son's and also not the kind of girl guys would slit their wrists for and also - for English men let's not even go there.
