Karan speaks about his new co-stars - Article pg 7

Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One recently saw the entry of three new characters Dakshish (Jaskaran Singh), Sam (Priyanka Bassi), and Rahul (Manish Raisinghani).

While the audience has already fallen in love with these new characters, we spoke to Shantanu (Karan Tacker) and questioned him about his off-screen rapport with his 3 new co-stars.

Karan sounds very excited when we ask him about Jaskaran. "Jaskaran is a really funny guy, and comedy comes to him naturally. We both keep coming up with impromptu stuff, and I really enjoy doing comedy scenes with him. Our rapport is really cool, and it is so much fun having him on the sets," he says.

Speaking about Priyanka, he says "Priyanka is a very sweet girl. She's very soft-spoken, and it's very pleasant to have her on the sets. She is a very positive girl, and has been around for longer than I have. I pick up a few things about work from her".

Viewers of the show are very excited about the confrontation scene between Shantanu and Rahul, and we could not help asking Karan about this much-awaited scene. "Manish and I have not shot anything much yet, as we have not come face to face in the show. We just met randomly on the sets when he was shooting for his stuff and I was shooting for mine. He's a great guy, and again, he has been around for longer, so whenever we work together, I am sure I will enjoy it. These seniors know the trick of the trade, and I enjoy working with people who know what they are doing. So I am sure we will have a good rapport and good fun. Anyway, boys always gel very well. He seems like a good actor from what I have seen, and I am sure our scenes will turn out to be cool", smiles Karan.

When asked about what we can expect to see in the upcoming episodes of Rang Badalti Odhani, Karan reveals "The audience can expect a lot of music coming their way. There will be comedy when I am with my friends, and with Khanak, it's more serious. There will be a lot of variation in the show, so audiences can look forward to that".
