I think it is because of Sam's decision that made Rahul to go aginst Shaan and Sam. Let's say in an instance like where they needed to vote and decide which member should perform, and when there was tie, Sam might have voted in favour of Shaan which made Rahul furious. Nice to see you back in action Amrita ....I would just add something to it ....Maybe Shaan was a late entrance to the group ..It was rahul,Sam and Duck initially ...Sam his loveand Duck who was his childhood fren also warming up to Shaan must not have gone down well with Rahul..along with fact that Shaan was actually better than him when it came to singing ...
They had to go to banglore and group dint have the money for share in trip ...Sam must have suggested Shaan would do that ...maybe she directly talked to Shaan for arranging Rahul/her part of money.....her way of saying and Shaans usual 'Shantanu Khandelwal style' acceptance must have not gone down well with Rahul...that guys ego maybe was more hurt coz ..
1 . his girl turing to someone else for help ..
2. money which had to struggle for was easy for Shaan .... trust me Shaans easy going attitude can rub it in ..
3.when Rahul is already unhappy that Shaan is a better singer than him ...and Sam saying it one face ...can hurt ..
All this could have happened ..my guess ...who knows ...
Edited : I will tell you the essence of a fall out I had seen...The cultural team had to decide who would the anchoring ...evryone was asked to write chits and vote ...The girl felt her fren was more suitable coz he that easy going attitude to engage the audience ..her fren and the guy she loved were two gem of persons but never saw eye to eye...
The other guy felt she would vote for him...there were 5 votes and he got only one his own ...that dint go down well ...it hurt and humilitated him coz the fun everyone made on khud ka vote khud ko thing... and hurt the girl to see him hurt coz she dint think he wanted to host the event...coz the moment she voted she was just doing an unbaised voting what was correct and best for the situation ...but it felt like betrayal ...when u are young and less matured ...things like this get magnified ..but ok for RBO it was money was a pain point too
