CELEBRATIONS 1st ANNIVERSARY - THENDRAL

To talk about my experience, I've never really been a fan of serials, cos I always had the thought that it was an old people's thing.. to sit and watch serials the whole day, and see the women always either RKOing, KPOing and ICOing 😆

But I was jobless one day and realised Deepak was in this serial. I've always liked Deepak for his humour in JN1 and so decided to catch a few episodes. I think it was slightly before Vel-Thuls wedding time, and it was sooo exciting, with alot of suspense! and of course NR as the villain, he's soo classy and funny! I think that is the first time I actually enjoyed a villain's acting, he performed sooo well! 👏👏 And so I went back to watch the older episodes, and officially got hooked onto it! 😛

As u can see, Thendral really changed my impression of a serial.. definitely cos it appeals to a lot of young ppl, like me. It's quite different from the traditional serial format that other serialmakers adopt, such that so many people from around the world are addicted to it. 😃

Firstly, the crew, and a young director 😛 and of course a superb cinematographer... his camera angles are amazing, esp in the park scene when Thuls hugged TA! I dunno, the whole scene was just soo artistic, with the BGM starting exactly when her feet touches the park! Me being a camera angle fanatic, reallyyy loved it! and the way the camera went in a circle, showcasing their expressions soo well!!! 👏👏👏 This episode was also the time, I used to go maddd discussing Thendral with my dearest sisters, and realised all of us were mad beyond recovery and declared ourselves the "Thendral mental sisters" 😆😆 and also the time when they suggested I shd join IF.. and I'm having a wonderful time here, discussing, laughing and arguing with members... 😃

And the music director and assistants.. they deserve a round of applause for the superbbbb music. The BGMs and songs are sooo beautifully done, not soo jarring like other serials, so apt for the situation, and reflects the emotions and the mood of the situation soo well! 👏👏👏 I'm personally a Thendral BGM addict, keep listening to the BGMs every now and then. And not forgetting the lyricist, with the awesome lines.. the lines really made me go mad the first time i heard them... "mazhaye pon mazhaithuliye en iru vizhiyil nee irukuriye........" kudos to the lyricist!! 👏👏

Without the actors, the show is nothing! Hats off to the main 2, Deepak and Shruthi, for bringing out such trueee emotions, their body language and expressions are amazingggg!!! 👏👏👏👏 Esp in the romantic scenes, they share a superbbbbbb chemistry! I think all of u will agree with me on this... Their eyes speak volumes!! Esp in the candle light scene, when he said she was too pretty and she got shy... omg priceless! 👏👏👏 It was sooo true, I could feel the vibes. And their marriage scene, was yet another scene where I cud rly feel it. The court scene was yet another scintillating one. If I write my most fav scenes, my post will go up to 2 pages, there are just tooo many!!! 😆😆 Every scene with Deepak and Sruthi is a pleasure to watch, no doubt!!! 👏👏 Of course, the other actors like NR (Vel), Sudhakar (MM), Sadhana (Padma), Shanthi Williams (TA's mum), Neelima (Lav), Srividya (Charu), Hema (Deepa), Iyappan (Mohan), SN Lakshmi (Paati) and the rest (too long a list to mention..), everyone has done their best, they have proven that noone is inferior to another! All of them are too goood... Hats off to all the actors!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Of course namma hero as TA, is one of the main reasons I'm still watching this serial. His character is soo well etched, the perfect hubby - for Thuls, the way he takes care of her like a delicate flower, the perfect loverboy, the perfect friend - his helping tendency and care for his friends, the perfect son - who loved his mum soo much and didn't wanna a drop of tear from her eyes (till his mum took advantage of that), the perfect bro - who wanted the best for his sis and cared so much for her... And the way he can't shut once he starts talking, and keeps talking sense but nonsense, reallyyy loveee it! 👏👏😉

And this serial has the perfect combis, TA - Vel (hero - villain), TA - Charu (hero - Villi), TA - Thuls (perfect hubby and wife), TA - Lav (used to be the perfect bro and sis, they were soo good, like real life siblings), Thuls - Deepa, Kalyani & TA - Kanagu, Joseph (the perfect friends, who stand by your side thru think and thin..), Deepa- Varada (the perfect dad who's soo selfless and cares so much for his daughters), Thuls-Padma (the perfect evil stepmother), Thuls-Paati ( the perfect grandma who was with her granddaughter thru all her sorrow and happiness) and also Thuls-MM (of how a dad changed to be a one she really deserved..) .. Also, Thendral showcases and has a perfect balance of romance, comedy, friendship and serious stuff - like the main theme education, even though they digress from it quite often, I'm sure they will look into it and Thuls will graduate in flying colors 👏😃😉

So, all in all, the collective effort of the whole team is super good! If they keep up this work, Thendral will surely bag this year's sun TV awards in all the categories, I'm pretty sure, and all my votes will go to Thendral!! So all the best to the whole team and congratulations on your first year anniversary, keep up the awesome work so far! 👏 and I'm sure we, the viewers are gonna tune in to more exciting episodes in the future, all the very very besttttt!!! 👏😃

Also, thanks a million to all the updaters who have updated the serial from the start, really enjoyed reading all ur updates, banked so much on them when I couldnt watch the episode, esp during my exams, all of you are doing a great great job and let's await another year of updating!! 👏👏👏

Nice BGM songs

First of all, congrats to Thendral team on completion of 1 year!

I started watching Thendral from day 1 as the promo that aired showed very exciting theme. But the serial was going little slow as they showed Thulasi suffering but still did not lose any interest in the way it was narrated. But then, when Deepak came into the scene as Thamizlarasu, I was so impressed and also the story started to pick up the pace.

One more thing that pulled the lot of audience attraction to this serial, is the wonderful BGM😉. One of the favorite ones are "Vanakam Kaadhalaney" and "Kotti chellum". Very romantic lyrics. Thanks to the lyricist and the music director for this serial. They have done an amazing job. 👏👏

The director has portrayed the characters very well. He has taken care of each and every expression the characters emote in a very careful way😊. The sadness and happiness were evenly spread thorough the whole episodes.

The suspenses during Vel marriage, really made people to wait anxiously for the next day episode. This is the one and only serial where I really have thought that I could not even wait for the weekends to pass by to watch the serial.👍🏼

There are many lovely scenes which we cannot forget even after thendral gets over after many years. Some of them are Vel-TA confrontation, Thulasi college admission, Thulasi proposing to Tamil in the park and Tamil replying back to the proposal in the hospital to see Vel, Thulasi at Tamils office to say thanks, TA stay at Thulasi house, their marriage and of course the epic court scene etc?😛

Coming to the lead characters, I could not even think of anyone else other than Deepak ⭐️ in this Tamil character. He just fits into the character like a T. The character he is being portrayed as a jovial, very active, helping tendency, non-stop talking, nice lover and an excellent husband are priceless😉. His acting, expressions, body language and romance are well played by Deepak. Excellent!! Kudos to him.👏👏👏

Talking about Shruti, she has also acted very well as soft spoken Thulasi in her character. Specially, in the court scene where she was crying, looking at Tamil with the gratefulness and looking at TA mom with the look that nobody can separate her from her husband was just great👏. Loved her in that episode. Also before Tamil stabbing in the new house, she just brought in the full romance very well. Good job Shruti! 👏👏👏Her eyes are so beautiful and talks a lot!😃 As I specified last week, she acted so well in that candle light romance by bringing the full shyness😳.

Deepak and Shruti chemistry rocks! This is one of the main reason for this serial to be very successful. I have seen many serials, but so far, the best pair on screen.😛

Friendship is portrayed very well in this serial. Hemalatha as Deepa has done a very neat job as Thulasi friend. As a bold girl, she is the only support Thulasi had before her wedding with Tamil. They way how she defends Thualsi is great! 😃Good friendship never dies! Same with Kanagu, Joseph and Kalyani.

Nevertheless, coming to our Villian and Villis, NR has done an amazing job. His screen presence is very scintillating⭐️. His talk, look and facial expressions are great! Great job NR Sir! 👏👏Sri Vidhya has done a nice job as villi.

Apart from the lead pairs, excellent acting by Subalekha Sudhakar, Sadhana, Lakshmi Paati, Hemalatha, NR, Sri vidhya, Charu Periappa, Neelima, Shanthi Williams etc?👏

Congrats to the entire crew and cast of Thendral team! Keep up the good work. 👍🏼Hope there is more interesting episodes coming our way!🥳

First of all, congratulations Thendral and it's team for completing the very successfull first year 👏.

As many young members here in Thendral forum on IF, me too was never a serial watcher. The reason for it was that my family never had Sun TV at home, until they began to air the europe version of Sun TV a few years ago, then too i watched that TV, if they aired it for free only 😆. Somehow i was being averse to Tamil serials until Thendral came. But the reason for me to watch Thendral was Deepak Deepak and Deepak only 😆. My crazyness about him began with Jodi Number one, but at that time i did not like Deepak that much. But when i started following the other seasons with Deepak and Divyadharshini as anchors, i began to get crazy about him for his humour like Priya.

One day when i was watching JN1 on a website, i accidentally saw Deepak in Thendral serial. I think at that time almost two weeks' epis were already missed by me. I really liked his entry and the BGM they played for him and realised then only that he was the hero and especially saw him with his "meesai" 😆. From then on, no stopping for me, and watched all the missed epis from the starting of the serial. Now i don't have to say it here, i will never miss an epi. When i am not wrong, today is the 258th episode of Thendral (i can imagine you saying if i have counted the episodes, nope, i found it in another website 😛). Like Shubba Akka, me too was never soooo crazy about any other serial. I think i was getting so involved into Thendral from the park scene with Thulasi's proposal, was a day after my exams. I was being just vetti and let me slowly to get into it 😆. I began to interact with my other loosu sisters Priya, Hema, Ranu, Shubba akka and Shammu. Until i met them, i was enjoying Thendral alone but now enjoying it with them 😊.

I think i joined IF one day after my birthday this year. I was googling for Shruti's or Deepak's photos and it brought me directly to IF and i joined immediately, but was a silent reader for quite a long time until my sisters joined IF too, from then on, like everyone, i enjoy giving & reading comments.

According to me, Thendral is the best serial on Tamil TV right now, no matter what others feel or say about it. Priya already said valuable points why this serial is liked and loved by many people. For me the main reason why Thendral attracts many young people is because of the really really young team, not like in many other serials, where they have yesteryear's heroines, almost aunties in real life are acting or romancing young heros, not respecting their age. But here the characters and the actors are in our age. Of course like Priya already said the expressions of the lead pair, their chemistry and their wonderful realistic acting make me go even more crazy.

What i admire the most is the decency that is maintained in the romantic scenes. Even if the lead pair is not close with each other, it makes us feel that they are sooo close. I don't think i have enjoyed any romance in any recent Tamil movies this much. I even won't get bored to watch some episodes again and again, be that romantic scenes or TA's funny scenes with his manager, friends or sister. There were few weeks, when i got the feeling of watching a movie while watching Thendral. What i really like next to the deep love between T&T, is the friendship in this serial, be that between Deepa &Thulasi or TA &his friends. I don't think there were any serials which gave this much importance to friendship next to one's family. And definetly the theme about the education for women made me to admire it more, even if it is made less important right now, but for sure, Mr. Kumaran will focus on it again and he won't disappoint the viewers.

And another thing which makes me to melt is, the magical music by M.Kiran. The songs are really very apt to the scenes and it makes someone to go to their lalala land sometimes 😆😉.

And of course, Mr. Kumaran, Deepak, Shruti, NR sir, S.N. Lakshmi, Sudhakar, Padma, Srividya and everyone else give their best to make us enjoy the serial scene by scene 👏 👍🏼.

My favourite scenes in Thendral are the college scenes when Thulasi got the admission. I really loved the scene, where Thulasi almost fainted and TA held her in his hands and the the way he took her by hands into the college. And then i like almost everyone the park scene where TA sensed her entering the park. But the episode i liked the most in this serial, is the one with their dream scenes and lovely and cute romance in their dream house. And performancewise i loved the court episode which apparently made everyone to admire Deepak's fantastic acting while being in a wheel chair. And recently the romance in the candle light is added to the list of my favourite scenes 😛.

I don't think any other serial could replace Thendral in viewer's heart anytime soon. Thendral is not a usual serial for me because it keeps connecting me with my beloved sisters, who are really very close to me and the other friends i got here on IF 😊.

Congrats once again Thendral team, keep giving us your best while making us to enjoy every episode of Thendral 👍🏼.

And finally, a very big thanks to IF for this friendly Thendral forum and the healthy discussion with all the new and old members and Thendral fans. And thanks to all the updaters for taking your precious time in giving us funny and lovely daily updates including pictures whenever it was possible for you 👏👏👏.
